I don't think they would do that well. Hurley lost too Appy in the Regional Semis and Appy lost in the finals to Castlewood. Yes Grundy did beat Hurley the first time they played them at home but one of Hurleys "big three" (Tyler C.) couldn't play after the 1st quarter (we end up winning in OT.) We played at Hurley and all of the "big three" played the whole game...Wave lost by 15 or 20.
I think in Single A, basketball would be the only sport that wouldn't be much of a difference in the win/loss column..at least this season. I think football Grundy would have won district this year and in baseball Grundy would at least finish 2nd this year, and give honakor alot of competiton. Theres a baseball tourny this year at Haysi which them and Grundy and Honakor and whole lot more Single A teams will play in, be intrested in how the Wave does in it.
