Believe it or not, I have the BHC game article and photo of the dunk over him in my old HS scrap book at my parents. Next time I'm there, I'll have to dig through it, scan it and post it. Such memories...miss those days!
The Tigers appear to be picking up where they left off last year. I thought the loss of three key starters would hurt, but the younger players are doing well and Robinette is dominating the post. Do you think they have enough to get back to VCU in March?
Won't this be the third straight year Honaker has played Radford? I believe Radford beat Honaker in 2013 and Honaker beat Radford in 2014. Right or wrong? Unfortunately, I believe this will be a Radford win...by a score of 37-24.
I knew not to select Duke, Baylor and New Orleans. Right before I sent my selection to Ryan, I changed them. What's the old saying, never change an answer! Oh well, it was a good year for me. Always fun sitting down weekly to make my selections during HS football season.
Good win for Honaker. They will need a perfect game next week in order to beat Radford. Don't see the Tigers winning, but it's playoff time and anything is possible.
From one veteran, to those others that have served, thank you for your sacrifice and dedication! Have a wonderful day and it's only 60 hours or so until playoff football starts!
Really nice schedule for the Vols in 2016. Big highlight is the game vs Virginia Tech at BMS. Then a streak of four straight tough opponents (FL, GA, Texas A&M, and AL). I believe (like every year :-), that next year will be the big breakout year.
3 Sep - Appalachian State
10 Sep - Virginia Tech @ Bristol Motor Speedway (I'll be there)
17 Sep - Ohio
24 Sep - Florida
1 Oct - Georgia
8 Oct - Texas A&M
15 Oct - Alabama
29 Oct - South Carolina
5 Nov - Tennessee Tech
12 Nov - Kentucky
19 Nov - Missouri
26 Nov - Vanderbilt
3 Dec - SEC Championship Game (Yes, we will be there in 2016!)
Honaker should finish 8-2 or 7-3, depending on the Ridgeview game. That is a great regular season for the Tigers. I really thought they would struggle this year and finish 4-6 or 5-5. In essence, it has been a struggle since they've lost to the best two teams they've played. Don't see the Tigers getting past the 2nd round of the playoffs, maybe not even out of the 1st round depending on who they match up against.
Pro Players that you actually got to see when they were in High School...
