Who makes the list for the top young players in SWVA. I know the HOGO has two really good young sophomore point guards, Johnson from GW and Kestner from Chilhowie. GW also has a good junior center. NW also has a good junior guard transfer from Grayson. Who else may make this list? Go Panthers #blueteam

Hey Blues thanks for the smack down Friday. There were at least fans from all Hogo teams on Richlands side cheering them on. I heard a Blues fan comment on Marion being in the HOGO and that was killing them because they were not physical at all. Marion's weak schedule did not prepare them for the physical Blues. We tried to tell them but they would not listen.

My blue Panthers are still riding high going into week 5. I am a little worried about this weekend. Chilhowie is probably the best 1 - 3 team in SWVA. We havent beaten them since the stone age. Any thoughts?

Im not saying chilhowie will win but dont go bashing hogo teams when they have beaten you in the past. You should be playing 2A schools instead of 1A schools anyway. Go Panthers...........I love you Marion.

My sister's aunt's nephew's grandfather told me that Tazewell is all bark and no bite. Bark on and you may get surprised. Go Panthers. I have to take up for my hogoheegee brothers. Abingdon thought they would get 500 yards too, but only managed in the low 200's. Be careful what you wish for. Hogoheegee football teams will hit you and not back down.

Does anyone know why chilhowie is playing four 2A schools and one 3A school in football? They are only a 1A school and that does not make sense. My panthers, along with some of the hogoheegee schools are playing mostly 1A schools. Is it for points? Just wondering.

Does anyone know if Abingdon lets opposing teams play in their big Falcon jungle gym before the game? That balloon should be in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

First, if it matters, I am a Panther not a Warrior. Half the county knew weeks before football started and you're saying the authorities did not know? The big red players were going around bragging about it so the town knew. This involved 150 mailboxes which included a lot of people. Futhermore, Marion shouldn't be in the Hogo playing small schools PERIOD. The players should HAVE been punished before the Chilhowie game. Lastly, lay off the tea jokes and look in your own closet (or should I say, mailbox).

This happened weeks ago and yes they did know before the Chilhowie game but nothing was done. Winning over a rival is more important than punishment. Shame on you, Canes.

From watching Marion scrimmage there is no blocking. The D front is no where near what they had last year. Unfortunately, Chilhowie by at least 14. I heard Chilhowie showed nothing during their two scrimmages. Coach Robinson always has something up his sleeve.

If chilhowie's O-line continues to push teams around auburn will be in for a long night. The two big running backs are hard to stop just ask, George Wythe, PH, and Holston.
