I also believe Radford to be far more likely to move to 2A than Fort Chiswell. As of the last enrollment figures two years ago, Fort Chiswell was at 457 and I don't believe they have gained students. Radford was at 441 two years ago but they have gained a lot of students since that time. Them dang exchange students are killing us.

That's correct about the district, or so i've been told. But that was the best O line i've seen in along time. And if for any reason they didn't make all conference it's a shame. After Galax played Radford I said that their left tackle was the best Offensive lineman i'd seen in high school, EVER.

Had to get onto the Radford announcers Friday night for saying Giles Co. high school. Lord, Lord that is something I hate.

As far as THE game, Radford and George Wythe both beat Galax. Might not do it again but just might so THE 1A WEST GAME OF THE YEAR is in Wytheville @ 2 PM Saturday.

Hope eveeyone who made the trip had a safe and good time. Outcome wasn't what we were expecting but the old saying goes Speed Kills.

I still say Giles & Glenvar play 9 more times last year Giles wins them all. I thought Giles was the better team last year but didn't get the jod done on that Saturday. Hats off to a great Glenvar team for getting the job done so with that being said I just couldn't consider this game an upset either way. From an outsider looking in.

Upset alert? If Giles wins this game I really wouldn't call it an upset. Both teams are really good and if you saw the first game between them this year it went to final secsonds. I know Glenvar is higher seed but very equal teams.
