A person absolutely makes a choice about whatever career path they follow. I'm not sure he was even considered for either coaching job.

The way i see it, The Falcons have the best OL that they have had in forever.Really good RBs,Good Wideouts,decent QB. As long as they don't get too fancy I think they will be able to move the ball very well on most anyone.

I could envision Abingdon winning 8 games this year.

I agree with everything that you said. I think VHS scores more than 20 and I hope the Falcons can score at least 2 tds. Coaching staff is awful.

No question Abingdon wins this. Even with Bowels on the sidelines. Just hope they don't try to throw too much.

I too have seen both teams play. PH is going the right way. Holston has several good players, but will be bad after this year. I see PH winning this one.

Quite a few Falcon fans went to watch PH play last week since we were off. This is definately not the PH of recent memory. Granted they were not playing a top tier team, but they looked very sound. They have a dynamic offense and the defense seems very solid. Most expect Battle to win this. Remember just a couple of years back Battle was a cellar dweller and look at how they are thought of now. This could possibly be a very good game.

What you know about football could be put in a thimble and still have plenty of room left over. The PH kid is head and shoulders above your QB by committee. He is a good kid that works hard at his craft. Even with the poor coaching I suspect we will beat the hurricanes. You too are loaded with talent but not coached very well.

There is no question that if Bowels had the right kids in the right spots and utilized them, we would be at least a 7 or 8 win team. Best team for the worst staff in SwVa.

The team is not "pitiful". They are a really good group of athletes with the worst coaching staff around. As far as PH, I have heard really good things about them and the direction they are going. Hope Holston does well this year, because pickens will get mighty slim in the future.

Heard Cavs looked pretty Bad at Twin Springs. Should have been a blowout if you were gonna have any chance of beating JB. Battle 31-7

He is a good back, no doubt. but he had 400 yards sideline to sideline. He broke one long run on Battle(possibly some subs in) and the rest of the time had 60 yards on 19 carries. I want to see the Falcons have a good season, i just don't know if it can happen with Bowels at the helm. The Qb situation has to be addressed and the kid that plays safety should be utilized more on offense.
