Things not good in Abingdon right now less than 60 kids out including jv and only 3 coaches on staff trying to run both teams.

Does that surprise anyone? Its been a long year for at least the last 15 seasons.I don't see that it's going to be any different the next 15 be real things have to change from midget league to the administration to the parents I just don't see it happening. Not trying to piss you off be that's the way I see it.

Anyone heard who made all district baseball/softball? Seems like all the other districts announced theirs 2 weeks ago.

I'll talk softball with you vcats Hannah smith may just be the best catcher in the state and VHS should make a strong run back to the title game if they stay healthy.

All Abingdon coaches volleyball,football,softball,girls bb, boys bb,the only good coach is the baseball coach for some reason they don't care if they have quality coaches.o yeah I almost forgot they have a great band coach.

you could ask the parents to chip in 5 bucks each and buy the kids a trophy. Im sure they would not mind. Im not 100% sure but I believe it is the districts place to buy the trophy and not tazewells you may want to find out who is on the district board and give them a call since they charged you 5 bucks to watch the games all year they should have enough money for the trophy your AD or principal is more than likely on the board.

Southbound must be loving this as long as they are going at each other Abingdon gets left alone for a few days.

Whitewoods old school 3 rolls of bleachers right on the court out of bounds line under the bleachers court about 30 feet wide when they had the ball (fans put their feet under the bleachers) when we had the ball 27 feet wide (fans put their legs out) all of those crazy lines you had to watch out for you have to bring the ball across half court which was near the other teams foul line then you had another line that was under your own goal that then become the half court line.Dont forget about those rabid fans only 100 or so 50 standing loud and you thought that there were a 1000 of them. they beat us 109-90 at their place and I believe 54-50 at our place the same year that small court had some of our players scoring double their average. Thats all just a memory now I wish I knew someone that had pictures or videos from that gym.

HONAKER LOOKED PRETTY TOUGH BEATING A BIG AA SCHOOL abingdon 33-14 last night also graham looked pretty good on offense but gave up alot of big plays on D.
