total
these times are correct?
buzzsawBeaver
the 1st game likely is, but these types of events never seem to be on schedule with the latter games. That said I agree with the article, this is a heck of a lineup.
BigD4VT
Two observations, 1) This should be on Saturday instead of Friday. People go to school, work, make dinner, etc at that time on Friday. People will be hard pressed to get there before 6 or 7. Including myself which means I will miss Richlands vs. Pulaski. 2} I know this is a fundraiser but $10 is too much. A family of five will spend $50 not counting concessions. That will keep people away in my opinion. Less would be more in this situation.
Beaverteeth
$10.00 to get there? I thought the barrons games were bad. I will only see the last 2 scrimmages due to WORK on friday. Saturday would have worked alot better, this may have already been discussed. but why friday?
buzzsawBeaver
likely so the teams would have a full week before game 1. That's a lot of football for 10$s though.
Beaverteeth
Not on a friday evening. I would say 60% of people will not be there till 5:30 - 6:00.
BigD4VT
It is a lot of football for $10 if you plan to watch all the games. In my case it's $10 to watch Richlands play 2 quarters against Bluefield.
buzzsawBeaver
show them your camera and tell them you're with the press....

GHS89
It's not about the fans being there. It's glorified practice right now. But at $10 seems like the fans are important?!
ghs84
10.00 is too much for a scrimmage, unless its the pittsburg steelers.
BLU
Now. Now 84, you are getting off subject.....I think there should be good pad poping, should be worth 10.00!
GMan
[ QUOTE ] 10.00 is too much for a scrimmage, unless its the pittsburg steelers. Bluefield_Rules
I'd be there and gladly pay $10 if it was on a Saturday instead of a Friday afternoon/evening. You'll get to see some of the best and most tradition rich programs in Southwestern Virginia and Southern WV.
GMan
$10 is a bargain for that much football played by the teams that are participating in the event regardless of what day its played on. Hell, it cost $10 to see ONE State Championship game...played in crappy weather in the dead of winter...
RockinRoonsFan
We all have to keep in mind that it is a fund raiser. If you support your team, you'll understand that. Believe me, it is better than washing cars or selling candy bars.
bluefieldRocks
Insted of using the hole in the fence, i believe i'll just pay...haha I'm not sure wether im going to stay for both graham games and bluefield. Or just come for both bluefield and 1 graham game. I want to see what all the graham fuss is about
ghs84
graham like everyone else there wont show much.but i will pay the 10.00 cause i dont got the energy to climb through no fence.lol
VHSLhelper
If I come by about 3:00, can somebody sneak a steak sandwich to me through the fence?
