Marion at Graham updates

Well, hell, when you are running the same five plays that are not working, your coaches aren't making any sort of adjustments, and you're getting your ass kicked every week, I'm sure most would give up mentally...

Don't forget also being thrown under the bus by your coach. Which is exactly what he did in the newspaper this morning. It's the same old story we know. You play boring football Doug, and you don't care if we care. We get it. And most importantly, it is never YOUR fault Coach Marrs. It is your fault Coach Marrs. All of it.......

The difference is, Graham isn't even showing up...

That's basically what I was suggesting, they've already mentally quit for the season it seems, otherwise with all due respect to marion, I doubt they're that many points better than graham talent wise or that it would be that easy for them..

Got to get the young kids in the game when it becomes this bad! If not, they come back (maybe) next year and have no memory of touching the field the previous season. Play the subs and if the coach standing across the field has any class he will too. As Lou Holtz said "If you don't play the freshmen then they come back the next year as freshmen, only a year older." G-Men sound bad across the internet again tonight.

That would be a mistake...........more uniforms to wash and more war stories on the bus back to the school.

It will be tough for anyone to want to play next year under this regime. If anything, the GHS soccer program will get a nice boost with Doug back in charge next season.

May not have enough to field a team next year......

They play on turf so mud or grass stain should not be an issue. As far as stories go, in 20 years who's going to pay attention anyway. I thought everyone always played on an undefeated team and ran the winning touchdown?

Marion ran the fullback most of the 2nd half....if they would've continued to run #1...he would've had well over 300 yards...probably would've scored a couple more times...he ended up with about 200 in basically one half of play.

Marrs and WeeCee are killing Graham.

It's all of them. They may be nice guys, but the facts are they aren't very good coaches. We wouldn't be giving up 40 and getting killed every week if that wasn't true. It is what it is. These kids are what they are taught. It is not the kids fault, they can only do what they are told to do.

You nailed it. 300 yards easily. He was faster than anything we had.
