Although he wasn't on this list, I also miss BLU. You could always count on him to give an accurate prediction of every Richlands game. Lance 228 Report Share Posted November 7, 2011 So whenever you go clean out the old threads, it takes away from our post count? it just depends...a couple of times i've had to do some major purges to repair the database...it doesn't compile your post counts in real time so to speak...and if a thread gets delete along the way for whatever reason you still have "credit" for it until i do a recompile on the database. Once you do that it gives you your true post count based on what is left in the database. I only have to do this about every 4 or 5 years so you can imagine how many posts that actually affects when its done. If i did it right now it would probably only drop Gman about 50 or so posts at the most i would guess...lol...so i doubt he will be crossing 10k again. So I feel like I'm not completely wasting my time on here! Aw, shucks, I don't know if I'd go that far, but I appreciate the kind words. If I had to boil my stance down on learning into one sentence, it'd be: "Enjoy learning and learn as much as possible without allowing education to override common sense." But I do very much enjoy spending free time on this site. A good group of eggs here, as I think a great many people from SWVA are. I've been fortunate enough to meet a few of the fellows here, though I wish I could meet more. GMan sure captured lightning in a bottle with this site.
