LegendatLegion
well hmmm... I have a hard time picking this one as I think they are pretty evenly matched. I have seen both play, and while Marion does have the home field advantage I think the folks from Richlands have been there and done that, so they will be affected less than most. Both have good RB's although differing styles. If Griffen is healthy. Wagner is very stout and a good high school back and I would take either one on my team. I thought Marion could throw it a little better than I expected, and have some good offensive threats at receiver. I thought the D was somewhat suspect though, and I am going to say the Richlands D is just enough to be the factor. Richlands 21 Marion 20 of course it will probably be a blow out since I picked a close game :) BlueRazor
Ryan4VT
Ryan, I have had the dip dog--it's ok. For an awesome milkshake I like Cookout at Exit 7--can't be beat, 40 flavors. My favorite is the banana/pineapple. Oh Cookout…………when I lived in Raleigh for that short 7 week span, I ate there so many times because it was a block away and it was so new to me. Hahaha. stu_bean
Marion visitor bleachers suck that's all I can say about that. View is so much better from the home stands. Might as well go ahead and speak about score since I saw both teams play. If this was at Richlands I think a closer score. Seeing as it will be on real grass I give the advantage to Marion and think that they will have a win by 10-13 points. Of course I have sucked this year at all levels of pickem so I sure wouldn't bank on that. But I will say that Marion is the best team we played against all season. Chappy
And here I was going to pull for you all....oh wait... And by "MOST of the HOGO" he means the four guys in Saltville whose jealousy outweighs their desire to see their District succeed. Not all Northwood fans are like this dip-wad, but then again a lot of them are. HurricaneWarning
trublue
Tim Hayesâ€@Hayes_BHCSports22 mins22 minutes ago How about that 72.1 percent completion percentage for Marion QB Hunter Lefler Tim Hayesâ€@Hayes_BHCSports14 mins14 minutes ago How about 14 consecutive seasons with a playoff berth for Richlands? Or 11 straight years with at least 8 wins? great state

BlueRazor
Thanks Hurricane. Me and Ryan will be on up to see you all early. You may have to escort us because you two sit plum up on top and we will have to walk through all those home fans. Nevertheless we will make the climb...lol

We just stand at the top of the bleachers. Some of the fans sit up at top behind the press box. That's a good climb haha.

CaneFan1
Wooden Pickle Food & Spirits is located on Main Street directly across from the Lincoln theatre. We have draft and bottled selections as well as on and off premise wine. We were just recently voted best restaurant in Smyth County by Smyth County News and Messenger. Although we are HUGE Canes Fans, we still welcome any Blue Tornado fans :-) HurricaneWarning

HurricaneWarning
I read in the paper where Marion beat Richlands 2-0 in 1975. Any of you older cats remember that game? I do remember the double overtime win for Richlands 38-35 in 1992.
