Three local teams off tonight. Richlands (9-1) ready for playoffs. Grundy (4-6) still has playoff hopes. PikeView done at 2-8.

 

Bluefield (7-1) could secure home field for 3 playoff games with a win tonight vs. Wayne. The Pioneers (5-4) probably must win to play on.

 

James Monroe looks to bounce back from loss to Bluefield against River View. Mavericks should be 8-2 and host a playoff game next week.

 

It used to be Honaker vs. Haysi in the season finale. It still is, sort of. Ridgeview was created this year by combining Haysi and Clintwood

 

Summers County senior Matt Ryan and Mount View sophomore Elijah Collier meet. Collier set a school record with 387 passing yards last week.

 

Two teams playing out the season at Tazewell. Zach Hurley has a chance to eclipse 1,000 yards as Bulldogs look to finish 4-6.

 

Montcalm hopes to squeak out a third win on the season. Midland Trail is the opponent, can finish 6-4 with win at Prudich Stadium

 

Hurley (Brady Justice, 1,692) and Twin Valley (Austin Shortridge, 1,509) feature two of the area's best running backs.

 

Graham looks to unleash Jamorya' Cousin at Narrows. The G-Men looking for three-game win streak. Wave should also squeeze into playoffs.

 

Giles is looking to go into playoffs at 9-1. Have won 17 straight over Auburn, which has made a remarkable turn from a 39-game losing skid

 

Bland County can finish up with a 7-3 record and a home playoff game next week. Fort Chiswell is facing an 0-10 season with a loss.

 

No. 2 Point Pleasant is 9-0, avg 60.7 points a game. Played 0 teams that are playoff bound. Princeton (5-4) has played 6, with PP to go.
