Unionguy_2017 288 Report Share Posted September 30, 2018 Union welcomes Lee High to the park. Union showed a lot against Morristown West and May have played their best all around game of the year. Thoughts?
S10SQUAREBODY4LIFE 239 Report Share Posted September 30, 2018 always match up good for some reason, makes for a good game to watch, not a clear cut rival, but still an interesting game. union 35/lee
#BBN 128 Report Share Posted September 30, 2018 Did the changes in the secondary make Union better on defense or was they better before? I didn’t get to go to Morristown West but seemed to be a great ballgame. Lee High and Union always match up good, but I just don’t see Lee High being able to match up and stop the power running game, or the quickness of Union. Bears 42 Generals

Bears 42 Generals 13 Much better when we we nickel. It was a hybrid nickel/dime, four DL, Polier, Aaron Stidham and rest were DBs

24282 24 Report Share Posted October 1, 2018 Lee will come out fired up. But I don't think getting in a power set (wishbone or power I) and running into the teeth of the union D is a good strategy for Lee Union 35 Lee
Union_Fan 2,155 Report Share Posted October 1, 2018 I know Lee will come out ready to go, they always do. Their best bet is short passes or misdirection runs. Never know what to expect from a Lee/Union game. Could be a 7pt game or a 35 pt game. Union 38 Lee

Bigdog 10 Report Share Posted October 2, 2018 LHS had some good teams back in my day. What has happened to them? Bears big. Should have kept the moose Union has on their team now.
24282 24 Report Share Posted October 2, 2018 Lee will continue to be mediocre to bad. Situation will not change even if school board changes over next year and they replace the whole UT staff. It is a culture problem.

Bigdog 10 Report Share Posted October 3, 2018 Nobody is buying that. Lee needs to learn to say they messed up.
October88 2 Report Share Posted October 3, 2018 If a person was at LHS SCHOOL,PRACTICE, and GAMES for a year they might know why a player went from LHS to Union. IF not, then you have no idea. It does not matter if Lee is in a wishbone I or spread Union has better players.

S10SQUAREBODY4LIFE 239 Report Share Posted October 3, 2018 mute point now, just enjoy watching what the kid does for the game. I don't care who any kid plays for, just play physical like it's supposed to be. lots of kids went that direction when the 4 lane didn't exist, so it's easier travel to jobs outside the county. good luck to both. #BBN 128 Report Share Posted October 3, 2018 Polier is a heck of a football player, no matter who he is playing for you have to love his intensity and what he brings to the game!!! Good luck to both teams and may all stay healthy!!! Union_Fan
