Forgot about that, but that was obviously an outlier.

And lost in the first round each time. At some point getting a win and advancing should be the goal instead of being satisfied with just making the playoffs. BigWinners 1,643 Report Share Posted May 3, 2019 Maybe Battle scored first in the 3rd and RV scored 24 straight?

grandpaw trojan 17 Report Share Posted May 5, 2019 battle was short a main cog for the Ridgeview game, the Cunningham kid #20 was out hurt, he would have made a difference.
bristol8434 15 Author Report Share Posted May 9, 2019 Word circling around Battle is that if Reed gets the job, he won't have much to work with. A lot of the main players on the rosters said that they aren't going to play for him and either transfer or focus on other sports at the school. The boys have gotten sniff of this and held a players meeting after workouts and were not happy about this. A lot of them are friends with the boys on Abingdons team and have heard what kind of a coach he is. swva_havok_fan and Grapeape

falconfan1 125 Report Share Posted May 9, 2019 Sorry...one player doesn't erase a 24-7 score, unless that kid is a D1 type of talent.
bristol8434 15 Author Report Share Posted May 9, 2019 And that player is definitely not a D1 player or we would have heard something about him.

V-Cats 472 Report Share Posted May 18, 2019 I'm wondering if Stone is positioning himself to start a football program at Cornerstone in the future They're still too small (enrollment) to play 11-man any time soon, but they could theoretically play 8-man or 6-man in the next few years It wasn't that long ago that Mountain Empire Baptist School in Bristol (TN) was winning regularly at the 8-man Christian school level Jags52
