Packman 33 Report Share Posted October 15, 2022 I watched Grundy play Burton last night and Scammell would start for probably for most 1A/2A teams. He follows his blocks well and has a good burst of speed along with power. I honestly was impressed with them offensively but I think if they want to make a deep run they need to play better defense. 02GW12 91 Report Share Posted October 17, 2022 Grundy wins D unless PH can completely stop the run game. Scammell is the truth that boy will run you flat over and ask if you want seconds. And for anyone thinking Grundy might win D but won't compete against Cs winner you're wrong. I could easily see them representing the West in Salem. I think GW, Galax and Grundy all 3 are capable of beating each other on any given night. It will all come down to who shows up and who wants it more and currently I think Grundy wants it more.
