For Richlands to actually be an underdog, that shows just how good this Appo team is. Mance will make sure this team is as ready as they can be. Win or lose, we are still one of the 2 best teams in the state, and that's all you can ask for. There are 50+ other teams who would love our spot. 

appomattox bleachers were terrible. No walkways between the seats, small set of bleachers and could fall plum through them

lame...anything with a 15 yard penalty should be an automatic 1st down if the entire penalty can't be marked off. (half the distance)  I mean you are 3rd and 8 from the 10 you get a 15 yarder and it's 4th and 3 from the 5? that's not right.

Morristown West has beaten Greeneville 2 out of the last 3 seasons. They have a solid football program and even jumping up to 6A next season! They may beat Union by several scores but a loss to them is 10x better than a win over Eastside or TW!

Sad thing is someone probably believes that too....or Alabama could beat the browns

I would like to hope someone has a video of the Appomattox players holding arms marching down the field into the prayer circle they made at midfield. That was absolutely amazing

It's not only this week just for you to have a home game next week, but it's every week. We appreciate that. I was in Richlands last week, sporting a Bears shirt, stopped in a couple stores and had people comment "good luck in the playoffs". Absolutely, same to you.

The respect between these 2 programs not only on here, but facebook, twitterr feeds to and from each other, to the stands on football night. Never fails to amaze me.Thank you, and congratulations on your win.

600 kickoff

I got to Appo 6 hours before kickoff last year. 

We filled their stands up 24 minutes after they opened the gate. I got there 6 hours early and we were about 20th in line. By the time the gate opened, the line was over 500 people long. We HAD to be there that early to get a seat, and my grandfather has had 14 back surgeries, he can't stand for that long. 

They weren't supposed to open the gates til noon, but opened around 10 due to the union people lined up. That's how we roll

Appomattox has to get past Union first. We may go up tomorrow and get blowed out by 21+,that's why they play the game, but Dan River thought we were going to be a cake walk to round 3 for a rematch.

Congrats to the Blues on a nice game and hope them Bears can find a way to beat Appo tomorrow so we can play another game at Ernie !  Go get em Union,  will be keeping up with the game and pulling hard for you guys !

At this point, I see all Blues fans pulling for Union for that 4th round home game. Lol
