Lee highs coach has shown his true colors. Bench 2 of his best because he can. Neither injured and neither broke any rules , just pissed him off because he is a shitty coach and they know it. Pissing contest at the max. It's okay he will be gone in 3. Never should have got the job but he wast he only applicant.

Honestly, I'd be shocked if Battle stays within 4 TDs of Union. That my be a conservative prediction. No disrespect to Battle, but they simply aren't on the level of Union.

As a Richlands fan, and I can't of course speak for all Richlands fans,  I have never had any issues with the Union fans !
 For me,  it has always been very respectful between us and although this game may not be an old rivalry it has become a very intense one with some extremely close games.  I have been very fortunate to have been able to go to all the games between our 2 schools and have stood in line to get tickets at BSG and have got to meet a lot good people and had great conversations.  Much respect between both fan bases,  that I have seen.
Of course I have no idea what happens between Central and Union,  all I can speak of is what happens when we play the Bears and I have never seen nor have I heard of anything.  
Just my 2 cents of my experience with the Union fans !

What can I say? I just like the Big Stone Gap-Appalachia folks and their passion for high school athletics. This is a perfect example of two communities coming together as one. SWVA football at its finest!

Agreed. He was held to very minimum yards last night and didn't make any big plays worth a highlight

Don't quite get them saying Union is/was overrated ????    Really,  Union is one of the top teams on this end of the state in 2A and has been for a while.  They have some athletes, some size, a legit D1 prospect.  and are well coached and have played a much tougher schedule than Lee has...........I guess their fans are probably not saying that this morning.

Richlands and Union are the two fanbases that immediately come to mind as the best travelers on our end of the state. 

All about power points. They are undefeated I think. That will boost them up. Grundy is the same way. Those teams will fall and Graham and Union will rise quickly as they continue to win.

Yes. They did. Because they are a VERY good team. You're putting words in my mouth. I only said that I was pleased with our defense. I never said anything about their defense.

Not much of a game, pretty much just lined up and drove it down their throat. Would like to see Turner let his boy open it up a little more though, the kid has been playing pretty good ball. Also I was glad a certain DB had a good game after tough game last week.

Im just hoping their not still holding last weeks loss over their head and still down about it, that is definitely a game you definitely don't need to hold your head about, especially with a younger squad like we have, on a road game. Be proud you can even compete with a squad like the blues like we have for years
