If Blacksburg is really going to be kicking onside and not punting it will be a disaster against Giles. Giving Giles a short field would be a very bad idea. I'll take Giles in this one.

Update on Giles and Bluefield.

Very unfortunate. If it were last year or the previous few years this would've been fun to watch. Bluefield is too much and Giles is now rebuilding.

I'm sure they will be fine. Even in a down year they still manage to be 6-4 or better. The young guys playing will help over the next few years. Who knows maybe they will over achieve.

They almost always have a very physical offensive line but you also need a good backfield to make plays. They lost a talented back in Brian Mann being gone. I don't think they have anyone to fill those shoes just yet.

Giles will still be pretty good I bet. Young but still some talent coming up.

I'll say Union by atleast 2 td's. Don't know much about Clarke Co but the East was weak this year. Union 35 Clarke Co 21

Agree they lack sportsmanship. I witnessed many unsportsmanlike actions when Giles played them the first time.

Appomattox has a lot of speed on offense and gets to the ball quick on D. This game I think will come down to who makes the fewest mistakes. I would love to see Richlands take it to them. Like others have said don't let them go up a couple scores because if they do it will be very hard to over come.

Glenvar will get a lot of pressure on the QB they have all year. They were in the back field on just about every play against Giles and the week before against VA High. Good luck to Union though I really hope you guys win.

I saw that the JV had only won 2 games and was thinking Giles may be in for a rough year next year. Didnt know they had some injury issues. I knew they had moved Brandon Chapman and some others up to varsity. I know Giles usually reloads and I'm sure will be fine in the near future once again.

Hope Giles has some players coming up that can fill some of the shoes of the seniors. Don't know much about the JV for Giles and what they did. But hoping Giles can bounce back next season and get a win against Glenvar at the least.
