IF Riverheads was in 2D I dont think they win region, they definitely don't make it past the semis. 3-4 games in a row vs strong teams, they've never had to do that.

Just kidding but cmon man. They beat Stuart’s Draft every year and Stuart’s Draft almost beat Appomattox in the state finals in the spring. That game was a lot closer than Graham or Union was to Appomattox
It's looking more likely for fall baseball and spring football in Tennessee. I see something similar in VA.
The one thing you can take from today's meeting - regardless of which plan is voted in - TSSAA wants to ensure that football is played this fall (health concerns permitting). They're going to do everything they can to make sure the season is played as scheduled for each sport.

Excuse me but I think I’ve found the problem. If they are using two centers does Center A snap the ball to Center B who then snaps the ball to the quarterback. This seems awful time consuming and is probably affecting the timing of the running game. Or do they have two centers so one center can snap the ball to Lester and the other center can snap the ball to Blevins. That’s a bold strategy Mike Leach hasn’t even thought of. Of course there is only one football, so I don’t think that’s it. So, if there is only one center and the interior line between the center is going to keep getting better and better, who exactly is playing between the center? Never mind I don’t want to know the answer to that question...
Well, you are straight to the point. To continue with your theme, the Graham fans are going to be Mountain High with a perfect "View" of the football season and the one from Mount View is pretty much a sure thing. Graham gets exactly what they needed which were the two biggest question marks and that's another lineman as the offensive line was a question mark and another athlete at WR/DB and who will get touches out of the backfield. If both are on the field in August, Graham will be tough to deal with it. They may be considered the favorite in every game, and that includes game one in my opinion.
We all complain about the participation mentality, but then we want to add people to a All District team or All Region team without saying who we would remove. Seems hypocritical. It’s possible that Player A is a very good player and he didn’t make the All District or All Region Team because Player B was just a little better. Now, I can’t make an intelligent argument for or against any particular player because I didn’t have the opportunity to see all of them play each and every game. I will trust what the coaches in each district/region/all state decided and congratulate all the kids and coaches who were recognized.
Already heard from some Bluefield fans how if they were in VA they would be the state champs. This is why I find it very difficult to ever cheer for them.
Technically that’s correct. Bluefield would have beat Goochland this year. The question is would Graham have beaten Fairmont Senior if Graham played in West Virginia. In my opinion, they would have. Graham was playing the best football of any of those four teams at the end of the season.
