This game will be closer than it should be. Graham is 20-25 points better than Richlands, but this will be a game with 3 minutes left in the fourth. Still expect Graham to win though.
Graham will return Reed (maybe), Devin Lester, and Cameron Allen. Plus a couple of good linemen. They will be tough to beat next year. I know Richlands returns both of their quarterbacks and Booker. I believe a couple of their receivers were young also. Everybody is saying Virginia High is going to be top notch next season so the Southwest District could be an exciting three team race. The Beavers return a lot of talent but at the same time they lost a truckload in the backfield. It will be hard for them to replace but I believe in Coach Simon and Chandler Cooper to lead the Beavers back to the playoffs next season.
Which is harder: Tackle Truck Edwards or defeat the Demogorgon?
Chandler Cooper can throw a football over 50 yards. Truck Edwards can throw Chandler Cooper even further.

Graham opens up tomorrow in 5 wide. It will be interesting to see if Cam can make plays or if the offensive line can give him enough protection to get the ball to his playmakers in space. Obviously when Union is on offensive they will try to pound Graham. Game will come down to turnovers and coaching. Graham ends the streak! Graham wins 21-20. Now, let's go Beavers!!!!
I'm not a t formation fan all. I've always believed in the I formation but union is running the t/wildcat better and better each game. Since week 2 we haven't passed the ball much at all and every team has stacked the box with 8 or more and we have handled each and every one of them with our multiple play makers. I promise u Graham is the only team in region d that can give us a good game but Union is tougher than anyone wants to admit. That guy behind me last night from central VA was bad mouthing us at the start of the game and by the end he was staying that union is by far the best team he had seen this year and has the best shot to win state of any team in swva. In my humble opinion region d will win state. Graham may win Saturday but I promise the bears will be the best team they will face this season

I refer to “true” sophomores because I get sick of hearing about how young Tazewell is - they are holding whole classes back now. So the Tazewell team may be underclassmen but not underclassmen aged. Richlands has always done it as well. There will always be reasons to start a kid late hold them back etc but for solely athletics is not a guarantee they will be a great athelete. Check your holdbacks from recent years in Tazewell County where are they now?
Look for Graham's QB to HOLD nothing BACK today as he runs and passes all over John Battle. No college is HOLDING BACK from recruiting the very talented WR at Graham and today he shows everybody why. Graham rolls 47-14. And the two Bluefield schools continue to march towards state championships.

That is funny and kinda sad at the same time. I don't know what's worse Gate City or the fact that the only team Richlands can talk trash to is Tazewell.
