  1. Ridgeview had 55-60 from what I was told.
  2. No love for the nWo Wolfpack theme that the boys on Rose Ridge come out to? Lol
  3. Wow dude... Riverview in your top 3 and Ridgeview nowhere to be found? As The Hurricane from WWE used to say... (I suspect you did this in error, so I am not hating... :) ) 1. Bluefield 2. Graham 3. Richlands 4. Ridgeview 5. Union 6. Virginia High 7. Chilhowie 8. Marion 9. Galax 10. Abingdon
  4. My guess is that the security guys have anything blocked with a ".tk" extension... they also have everything blocked with a ".info" extension so I can't access the Racing Reference website at work either.
  5. Lmao.... the link above is blocked at work. Go figure.
  6. Trenton Adkins of Ridgeview and Cam Allen of Graham, both with Power 5 offers/commits, have to be the two to keep an eye on on offense. 1. With that said, who would be Ryan and Brady's picks for preseason offensive and defensive player of the year? 2. Picks for each district winner in our coverage area as well as top 2 seeds for regions 1D and 2D.
  7. Yep. Same time that I did... I was a couple years ahead of him though.
  8. I'll never forget 2013 for sure... both 9-0 heading in, standing room only at Sandlick, all the makings for an instant classic only for us to run that opening kickoff back for a TD and the game never being in doubt after that.
  9. Yep, I don't believe the Pack will be sneaking up on anyone this year I'm afraid. :)
  10. My top 5 of all time: 5. Haysi at JJ Kelly (2008) -- Tigers score 2 TD's in final minute of regulation to tie it, then win in OT on a FG 41-38. 4. Galax at Haysi (2013) -- Reminiscent of a big time heavyweight title fight from days gone by. Both teams went blow for blow in an epic back and forth ebb and flow slugfest until the stud RB Steven Peoples became gassed and Galax could no longer answer the Tigers in the 4th quarter. Haysi wins it 40-25 but the game was closer than the final score appears. 3. Powell Valley at Haysi (2005) -- Epic final drive to get Allen Owens in great position to kick the game winning FG as time expired. Tigers win the Region D title 17-14. 1. (tie) Galax at Haysi (2014) -- The final ever game at Sandlick and an instant classic. TD by Ryan Turner from 5 yards out with 1:01 left gets the Tigers within 1. Coach Colley opts to go for 2 and the win. The 2 point conversion pass from Jalen Sykes to Guage Hill is nothing short of a thing of beauty. Galax can not respond in the final minute. Haysi wins 29-28 and advances to the state semis. 1. (tie) Powell Valley at Haysi (1993) -- Vikings build a quick 12-0 early lead but a missed XP and then a missed 2 point try would come back to haunt the Vikings dearly. PV maintains the 12-0 lead into halftime. Haysi scores on their first possession of the second half to cut the Viking lead to 12-7. Both teams hold serve till deep in the 4th quarter when the Vikings are faced with 4th down in Haysi territory. PV opts to punt. What happens next is nothing short of startling as it's the greatest play in Haysi football history. Blaine Hackney, instead of letting the punt go into the end zone for a touchback, fields it at the 1. He evades a couple of Viking defenders and that was all she wrote as he went down the far sideline in the rain and the slop, losing his footing in the final 10 yards and stumbling but somehow falling into the end zone for the game winning 99 yard TD. PV makes one final charge as on the final play, Billy Coleman of the Tigers makes an amazing shoestring tackle saving what would've been a sure TD for the Vikings as time expired. Haysi wins the Region D title 14-12.
  11. Still doesn't beat City vs. QPR 2012 though for most dramatic of all time. ;)
  12. Per Kevin Mays on Twitter: J. W. Salyers has resigned from Union to take the Wise Central job. Dave Wyrick will be the new Union coach.
  13. I've heard a rumor but am not at liberty to discuss it....
  14. Offer number 5 comes from Justin Fuente's old stomping grounds.... Memphis!
  15. Good question. I would assume at running back, but not 100% positive.
  16. I think the only thing set in stone at the moment, is Ridgeview will travel to Virginia High. I THINK Battle will host Tazewell, but not 100% sure. Grayson County and Lebanon are the 2-3 seeds on one side of the bracket but not sure in what order and Union and Central are the 2-3 seeds on the M7 side but not sure what order.
  17. Not Gate City. They got ousted in the first round of the district tournament. Think you meant Union instead. :) Due to the very complicated nature of this asinine playoff system, apparently even though Ridgeview lost to Union yesterday in the M7 semis, they can still clinch the 2 seed with a win over Central in the consolation this morning, which is very important to avoid Lebanon and Richlands for one round at least.
  18. Yes. At either UK or Louisville one... can't remember which right off hand.
  19. Yep. Two P5 offers as a freshman. I'm sure Mitchell probably had more by this time as a freshman, but I am impressed just the same.
  20. All of this indirectly led to Ridgeview getting a much more winnable game in the district tournament yesterday against Gate City, which we did, therefore getting us to the Region. So, I am happy with it! Lol
  21. Trenton just received his second offer from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Not a big time program, but do play in a big stadium (Alamo Dome).
  22. .... by the University of Tennessee. If anything will ever make me a Vol fan, it would be seeing Trenton in orange and white.
