I’m not sure any of the head coaches in the region really take the advice of us armchair coaches seriously. Probably makes them dig in even more, lol. I’m not saying there aren’t valid points made on the board but I don’t see the Turners & Palmers of the football world caring what the rest of us think they should do, lol.
I can personally say with knowledge that Turner listens to this board. Or his assistant coaches do. They got rid of a pnut coach over his comments about Edward's last year. Truth hurts sometimes.
And everyone in the stadium knows the freshman you're talking about. Also almost every pass goes to him also
Becareful you can't hurt Bostic's feelings he'll go crying to Turner and you might get banned from games. I'm talking about daddy Bostic not the son who in due time could be a great player but not a two starter right now.
Unfortunately Gate City will keep this 1 closer then the experts think. Maybe even upset the bears. Reason I say this. Well 1st Union has no threat of passing game so the devils should put all 11 in the box and just tee off. 2nd Union has no pass defense except for #4 Huff kid. The 2 corners for 1 to be a 3 year starter and still have problems covering and the other 1 is starting both ways a redshirt freshman well we all know why he is playing both ways. Daddy ball kid is good but not both way starter good. If you don't think I'm right about daddyball go watch the tape and look at unions sideline after each play or during a timeout or even the start of game 10 kids with the defensive coach and said kid with daddy.
Thats a good 1 but I'm pretty sure if they are sending 1 in. Its probably 1 of 2 where 3 Graham players had Honeycutt down 1 twisting his ankle the other 2 punching him. Or the 1 were Graham players were punching 1 of the Anderson Brothers both happened right in front of the white hat who just watched. But hey that's old school football in my opinion.

Yes you can back and look i was 1 of the few not asking for Turners head. Just suggested he made changes. And he did in a way brought in 2 defensive coaches to help Edward's. But unfortunately that fool couldn't get it right with 85 bears defense. Just doesn't know how to adjust.
Graham fans will be glad to know that the blower of the horn decided last season that the team didn't deserve to have a horn and has quit bringing it, don't think he attends games either. Something about passing around a petition to get Turner and staff fired for doing such a terrible job
It had nothing to do with the team or turner. I suggested after last years playoff loss to Graham that Turner needed to fire that idiot Edward's and Bostic. Plus the administration and certain fans mostly old vikings didn't like the noise. Just wanted to clarify this. And yes still attend games.
Well I'm back and after watching this game tonite. 1st thing Union needs to do is clean up those penalties. 2nd the offense line needs to do nothing in practice but live on a 7 man sled. 3rd and probably the biggest is put Sykes in at QB and get 23 Cochran and the man # 4 Paul Huff on the offensive side kid is electric. Also I can see Edward's still doesn't know how to make adjustments and we love to play daddy ball. Congrats to the G-Men on a hard tough game.
I guess I'm ridiculous and crazy for expecting the defensive coordinator to know something about football or at least make some adjustments during the game multiple teams just lined up and ran it down Unions throat this season and not 1 adjustment. I knew Union wasn't beating Graham.

1st I would use the 2014 NCAA game plan instead of Madden 22. Just overall better game plan. 2nd for the love of God realized sooner to get out of the 3 man front. Hey but what do I know I'm just a little nobody fan. Don't have a college degree in art or PE and an expert in coaching. Just saying.
Sounds to me like the fans of Union have all the problems figured out, Turner should listen to them and see how things go haha.
No we don't have it figured out but Stevie wonder himself could see that the defensive coordinator aint working. Hell that same defensive coordinator told kids at school he had a dream the night before the 1st Graham game of what defense to run and it didn't work. I guess he is not like mlk at all.
I have a feeling you have no idea just how dangerous your last statement was, as it relates to a hammer in your future. The PA announcer for Graham and Bluefield is one of the better ones in the entire area. You aren't getting close, will not find anyone even close to the knowledge level of the man behind that microphone at Graham and Bluefield with any other PA announcer in the area. I can assure you of that.
Plus I really don't care about no dang hammer in my future.
I'm not saying he does a bad job but dang he was calling penalties for the refs yesterday and spotting the ball for them all they had to do was throw the flag on either team and he was on it. No disrespect was intended just my opinion and just like a$$ everyone has 1. That's mine.
That is a very stupid rule. Graham only has three coaches that work for the school system I believe. I get the premise behind wanting teachers as coaches but you won’t always have qualified teachers who are also qualified to coach. There has to be a happy medium.
It makes no sense to me at all. You got two coaches on the 7th and 8th grade staff and thats only to keep their son from going somewhere else. I guess we will just enjoy going to the playoffs each year and watching someone else win state each year. I do not and I repeat do not want to see Travis Turner go anywhere but some of those other coaches must go.
No need at all to get rid of Turner at all. Travis needs to get rid of all the back pack coaches on the sideline that means Edwards Bostic and anyone else who is carrying a pack.
Graham is good ill give them that. And yes they probably would have won today anyway but our defensive coordinator couldn't coach and stop Stevie wonder. Just straight up sickening to watch.
