I feel like if Richlands doesn't make immediate improvements this week, Union names the score.

As a Richlands fan, I second this... We have a headache at quarterback and a mess at receiver. Sage Webb was a bright spot, but he was worn out by the end of that ball game. Gate City came out and executed a flawless game plan. Gate City is something special and so is big number 45. That boy can fall for at the line of scrimmage and still get eight yards at a time. Richlands was just outcoached, outplayed, and to be frank, more than likely came in over looking this team. This game doesn't give me a lot of hope for the season.

Clueless Richlands fan... Tend to talk to a few of them around these parts.
-
Someone told me today at the Richlands game, "I would love to see what Richlands could do against teams like Tennessee High or Greenville."
Put me on the Tennessee High game bandwagon, would love to see a game at the castle. Win or not, but I will take a rain check on a Greenville/Richlands game. That Cade Ballard could have those kinda stats in one game against our little schools around here.
-
Hard fought ball game on both sides. Sage Webb is going to be an all star for the Richlands group in the coming years if he stays with it. Tazewell is right there, right theeeeerrrrrrrreeeeeee on the cuff on being very good, but the boys hung their heads very quickly and were exhausted. Seen a lot of Tazewell players on the turf tonight, which is a shame, hope nothing comes up major. Unfortunately, as much as I would love to see Tazewell do well and be in the game with Richlands and Graham, they always seem to "two to three years" away from a good team. I like the Tazewell coach though. He is keeping the kids there and growing!

Disgusting is a understatement. School/coach should be held accountable for their actions. From the video, looked like it was happening all night and no one noticed this and had a word with the kids? Come on now...
-
2016 Appomattox vs. 2017 Bluefield would be a very fun match up in my eyes.
2006 Richlands vs. 1992 Richlands in an inter-squad scrimmage would be a great time.
From the hype that Greenville is getting in this thread, throw up them versus 2016 Appomattox for the fun of it, but I feel like it would be a massacre.
-
Honestly, from a Richlands fan perspective, I love the rivalry between Richlands and Tazewell, but last year and this year are the closest (in my mind) that Tazewell has come in during this "streak" to beating Richlands since '08. Could Tazewell run over Richlands like Bluefield or Blacksburg? I don't think so... But, could they play with them and win by less than seven? Very, very possible. I like the prediction of Richlands 34 to 21, but keep Tazewell on under-bulldog upset watch.
-
Graham is starting to sound like "The U" of Southwest Virginia. I love it and hate it, honestly.

Not feeling like there are too many "shockers" out there tonight. Definitely interested to see what Bluefield can do rest of the year. Schedule forward looks fun.
-
-
So, quick question that I am sure has been asked well over four dozen times, but I can't find a concrete answer. If we head in early and watch the 1A game, do they make you pay the extra 10 to watch the next game?
-
Or you could be like some of us try-hards and stand. Looks like plenty of standing room.
-
As food tester or radio announcer?
-
Feels like John Luke was looking one of two ways tonight. Either the defenses way or Howies and neither was good. Why run in two minute drill when you gotta score? Lotta questionable stuff both ways.
-
Richlands plays defense, gonna be a slaughter. Richlands comes in with head in the air looking past to Grundy and Abingdon, could end up being a barn burner, scoring at a maximum, but there is like a 2% chance of that happening. Richlands rolls. I know Mance would never allow it, but the JV has been firing on all cylinders, could they put 70 on the Dawgs?
-
Between this and Dan River taking on Appomattox this week, this could change a few things around in the 2A West race.
-
Ron Brown and Brent Warner. Rocky and the guys are always fun to listen to, when signal is good, but the Browns are masters of stats.
