And in the SWD all but Graham have gotten the basketballs out, whats your point?

Hard to talk trash about about another district when you don’t even know who’s left in your own 😂

I hear Central is going to protest playing a VHSL playoff game in W.Va and press to have the game moved to neutral field in Dickenson county on a Friday night.  Also hear all the fog machines in the area have been bought up.

If that happens my money is on Central.

I heard that too. Something about a state playoff game at a field that’s not even yours or even in the state?

Also, having Lester knowing exactly where Jenkins is on every play as Union will try to get him the ball in conservative passing situations.

Which Jenkins? We have 2 Jenkins brothers playing. You might have one in the backfield and the other on a TE dump. You never know bout those brothers.
one maybe QB and the other at WR, stranger things have happened since the matchup earlier in the year

Jones is good for at least 2 personal fouls a game , his teammates pulled him away from at least 1 more when he was going after another one.he does do better the more he plays both ways, whooo I wish I had that kids energy

I wish we had 4 more of him on the field exactly the same. The kids motor never stops

Hmm. When was the last time anyone from M7 won a state championship?

Union golf won state this year. Union cross country is competing in state today. We had 2 from swimming win it all. Our volleyball team is playing in the quarterfinals today.
Central girls basketball has won state last year. Maybe they won something for One Act too as well.

There’s other sports and teams away from Graham.

He went back out and showed heart. For a freshman he's tough as nails and made a difference the second half with the ground and pound up the middle run game.

For sure. #31 took him out on the continuous chop blocks, but he worked it out and come back. Somebody made sure 31 face was in the dirt every time after that

Yea, you will.  All players get frustrated and all players at some point get pummeled in a game where they are outmatched and physically whipped.  The good ones bounce back, the talent takes over, and they do fine.  The same will happen with Adkins.  He will do fine and he will be playing at the Power 5 level.  He's that good.  He will also learn from the experience.  By the way, where the Defense is twice as good at the college level (far better than twice as good but I get your point) so is the offense on which the kid will be playing.  The colllege offensive line will be "twice as good."  And at the college level, if he's on a team that gets physically whipped, that can happen, but if it happens like it did against Union, being able to say you had 119 yds on 23 carries is considered one heck of a game, especially when you had an approximate 75 yarder called back on the first play.  One final thing, Florida and Penn State, (two teams ranked in or near the top 10 in the nation) feel he can make it at the next level.  I kind of trust em.

I get what your saying, but being a leading athlete not only on your team, but in the area & district, you can’t shake your head, hold your head down and throw your hands in the air when your getting hit in the mouth every play by the best defense you’ve seen all year. It’s gonna happen in college too.
I guess it’s easily done when you’ve had your way with 5 other teams this year and done what you wanted, then you run into a brick wall and it changes. I get the frustration. I really do.

im not taking anything away from him, I think he’s a solid athlete, he’s very good,

Yes, the kid was frustrated as he was getting pummeled as soon as the ball was snapped and sure he was frustrated after having it easy for the early part of the season.  Being frustrated doesn't equal a bad attitude.  The kids wants to win and he's a competitor.  He got frustrated.  No big deal.  By everything I heard from Ridgeview fans, he's a good kid.

Getting pummeled and frustrated in High School? You'll never make it at the next level then where the defense is twice as good than the high school level.

One thing for sure, both Union and Ridgeview are hitting the meat of their schedule now. Adkins should be rested against John Battle and both teams still have Abingdon, Somebody will have to play the GMen and Richlands is rolling now , it’s going to be tough to win this region.
Union has beat the top teams but they would have to do it again if they won the region, and that’s never easy

Union at the meat of their schedule? Central, Abingdon and Battle is meat?
what do you consider Richlands, Graham and Ridgeview?
