I concur with all of what you surmised. I hope those boys come out fired up & focused. I just hate the rain & cold. It’s the one factor either team can control when trying to hold on to a slippery football. Got to guard that pigskin with your life and not try to cut I much & make big plays in my opinion. Make lots of smart disciplined decent yardage plays.

They’re digging in and not going to go quietly. Graham better get their act together. Penalties are killing them. Got to focus & be disciplined.

After watching last night, I feel like Appo is different than the other teams Graham or Central has faced especially with the offense they run but that doesn’t equate to a cakewalk to win 2A and definitely doesn’t mean they could win 4A. Yes, they’ve improved a lot from game 1 this season but so has Central and Graham.

Someone posted on that other board, Appo was good enough to win 4A. I’m not sure if that’s true but either Graham or Central will have their work cut out for them.

I prefer to wait until after tomorrow to speculate. One game at a time! Graham needs to focus on Central and not be looking ahead at Appo. It’s going to rain all game which I detest for personal reasons (too old to sit in cold and rain, lol) and the fact that ball get so dang slippery.

I think as long as it not a deluge and very light , shouldn’t be much of an issue except for us old people (speaking for myself only) who hate sitting in cold & wet rain to watch high school football. Rain can make things interesting, that football gets slippery to hold on to...Marion was horrible last year but on turf not as bad as pastureland.

Just a kidding around buddy....you Richlands people take recruiting jokes and cleat references so serious... lighten up 😂😂😂😂 Lots of high school athletes go where they think the best program is for them, more power to them. Lots of parents hold their boys back a year, that’s their choice. Parents do what they perceive as best for their student athletes whether Richlands, Graham, Bluefield, Radford, etc. are the beneficiaries. Now, what days and times can I bring my boy to see the field house because if Adkins is coming to the Big R, I may need to find a place in Raven. 😉

I think what you say could be an advantage for Graham. Central.is young and they don't have the big playoff experience that Graham does. Young and hungry could work to Central’s advantage though I agree. We’ll see how they handle it. First ever Regional Championship game, that’s pressure and will they focused enough to not get caught up in the hype? Thus far, they’ve done well. They may surprise a lot of people and I definitely think Graham cannot take them lightly. I also believe the coaches at Graham won’t let their boys take Central lightly. Both teams well coached, hope it’s a great game with no injuries! Safe travels from Wise County!

I'm no fan of Ohio State but I'll cheer on Adkins if he goes there, lol. Gotta support our SWVA boys. Heck, I'm cheering for Purdue and VT these days.

Good for him!!! Didn't somebody say he was also visiting Ohio State this past Saturday? It's great to have several offers. If I were him, I'd commit before next season starts. That way no distraction of where to go & no pressure to put up 3000 yards to impress another university but that's just me. He's a junior, right?

If I were a betting man, I’d bet Tony Palmer and his coaching staff will have those boys all kinds of focused! It’s takes them half a season to get everything in gear but once they get going, they’re as you say, a well-oiled machine. It was like that last year and pretty much this year. It’s a one game season each week! Lose focus, season ends! I’d say GMen will be well prepared. It’s hopefully a great game worthy of a Regional Championship~ 🏈🏆
