Its not fair, but is the way it is set up. It was agreed upon per SW District principals that first game graham-vs- richlands didnt count in terms of playoffs. I think the M7 thought 1 way and SW another in terms of region representation. It was voted today by SW and M7 District confirming top 2 from each region was in fact the way it will be represented in terms of 4 region reps in playoffs. To my understanding, Tazewell can lose Saturday, beat VA High next week and they are in regardless. Graham still needs to win.

The Region D athletic directors voted on this before the season. It is the top 4 teams out of the region, regardless of district. Feel free to ask your school athletic directors. It is also of understanding that the 1st Graham vs. Richlands game didn’t count in terms fully of points in the region.

I don't think it is 1,000. It has been on average probably around 500-600, and that would be topside attendance. There is no general admission. Only player request tickets of 4 each, plus 2 for band and cheerleaders.

If I was Tazewell, I would bring the house on Richlands QB and Keep Webb in Check. Tazewell has a real shot to break this streak!

He is still not 100% and is playing DB. He had 1 carry from 5 yard line for a TD. VA HIGH put a JV team out there last year with freshman and sophomore. They are now sophomores and juniors VA High has 5 athletes that will be faster than most. The problem with VA High is it is not a football town, and putting those kids in space has always been a problem with the fronts. Nothing has changed in that aspect. They are still really young right now, but aren't ready to compete with the Richlands and Grahams of the district.

In no way can VA High pull the upset!

This is not a knock on Trenton, but if he could have been a Vol or Hokie, he would be a Vol or Hokie. If he could have been Mountaineer, he would be a Mountaineer! There is a big difference in an offer and a commitable offer. Adkins was hurt from not playing this fall for sure. I don't think he will be a RB at Toledo, I think his measurables help him, and he will end up on the defensive side of the ball. Harris is a kid that suffered a horrible injury, and he does have good talent, but is more of an FBS level player. One thing Harris will do is outwork the next guy. It will be fun to have this discussion again in a couple years!

Who is advising, Trenton? There is a difference between a non- committal and official offer. Officials came out in August and only 2 schools out of his list offered officials. He just tweeted his recruitment is 100% open. I just hope some handler isn’t feeding him bad info.

Explain to me how it is good for a senior that needs a last season to be recruited? Playing in the spring doesn’t help that kid at all. Scholarships and money are usually done for colleges by March. A sophomore or junior has an advantage.

Watching Central at the Arby’s, I was impressed with their team discipline. They work their offensive sets, push the ball up the court. Even though they have two definite scorers, they work it patiently. Defensively, they play as a team. Great help side and rebounding. Each player knows its role, and they play well together. TJ coaches calmer than I have seen him in years past. This team is for real.
