Galax will be playing the underdog role for sure in this one. RH is a heck of a program that can play with most in 1 through 3 A classifications in my opinion. They are extremely well coached in my opinion we are a four score underdog. RH is that good. Galax would have to play flawless and get in RH heads a little.Galax has zero to loose and RH has it all to loose . They are now tied for the nations longest win streak as the Leader lost and the team they are tied with is done for the year . So if they win they get that title and a 6 peat for state champions. Add to the fact that a lot of rumblings that this is Casto last year. All the pressure is on the red team, and Galax can just go out and play. Good luck to both SWVA teams on Saturday.

They missed several calls and made some strange ones . They missed a very bad horse collar by a Galax player on a Holston RB right in front of the side judge by 5 feet on the Holston sideline . On another note great season by Holston .I’ll say it again anytime you loose and elite QB and your head coach and come back and make it to the state finals is a heck of an accomplishment

This game would of been 70 something to 7 if it hadn’t been for the penalties . I would be surprised if Galax didn’t have over 100 yard in penalties in the third quarter alone.

I read as to where the State title game times has flipped. 2A plays the early game this year and Single A plays the 4 pm game.

That was what I was saying -Get that man some coffee!! Lol . And agree to the show Brady and Ryan did Had some great interviews on there. I have been watching these guys from the start as well and would like to see them incorporate the Region C schools again. There is alot on here from that area as well. Keep the fun going guys.

I also believe that anytime you lose a star QB and your coach and you win 13 Straight you are a hell of a football team. Even if and that’s if D1 is down those guys didn’t forget how to coach at PH and Chilhowie. My biggest concern will be if the Tide matches Holston emotions and intensity at the start of the game . As Holston will be sky high.

A couple of things here. This is kind of like allowing Oak Hill to compete in VHSL in basketball ,imagine that . The playing field will never be equal . as far as LU , they have issue like all universities . Although my Daughter will be graduating this semester from LU and I have been extremely impressed with the school, faculty and the facilities are amazing. The atmosphere is light years ahead of most major universities when it comes to student experience. She has gotten the chance to listen to and meet some very influential speakers such as Colin Powell ,Condelesa Rice, Trump, Tim Tebow, Herm Edwards to name a few.

I was very disappointed yesterday when leaving the game at the offense but extremely impressed by the defense . Holding the big guy to 18 total yards and the whole team to negative 6 yards rushing and 88 total yards was extremely good effort . Someone posted on the other board that the Roanoke times said PM only had 3 first downs and two was from penalties. That’s a great defensive effort. After watching it on NFHS I felt differently . First give PM credit in D they had great pass coverage all day and someone said it was their weakness , they covered us better than anyones else did all year besides Graham. Sixcat is right . The penalties killed us in long sustained drives and we was constantly 1 and 20 or more. That’s tuff to overcome against a defense as good as PM. Galax Will have to clean it up as Holston D is fast. But as the announcers for Holston Stated on NFHS Friday night and some of their fans stated at the game yesterday Galax should just stay at home as they are already playing in Salem in two weeks.

From the game highlights I’ve seen looks like PM has A very Big RB and like to power everyone. If these two haven’t played in a long time it will benefit Giles as it takes a bit to settle down against the wing, and if Giles gets a couple quick scores it will be huge
