The county has to pay for all the usage at Mitchell.  One of the biggest reasons people want Graham to have their own stadium.
On another side note, I have been told that city of Bluefield also charges for parking.  The way they collect this is by taking $.50 of each ticket sold

Stop the craziness

I had a post written up and deleted it  because I didn't want to give his stupidity the satisfaction of a response. No one can help weak schedules because they are made out a few years in advance.

I'm all out of likies, smileys and the such, but I just have to say...Graham fans, Union fans well done gentlemen. I think we need to start scripting for Days of our Lives OR WWE. Whichever pays the best. Lol

I am not in agreement with some that think Graham has a weak schedule. No doubt, Graham MUST play all other Southwest district schools. No school can control this aspect of their schedule. Additionally, no one can determine or control which district school is going to have a good year ... mediocre year ... or a disappointing year.
Graham's non-district schedule includes Bluefield WV ... Union ... Giles ... Princeton WV ... and Fort Chiswell. Bluefield and Union speak for themselves. Giles is usually a playoff contender but had a disappointing year. 
Princeton is a West Virginia AAA school that has had some tough years in the past. However, Princeton is a 10-15 minute drive from Bluefield. Graham and Princeton geographically are a nice fit and the schools have rekindled a nice little rivalry in basketball. 
Fort Chiswell has been up and down in the past few years. The Pioneers are the only Class 2 carry over from Graham's presence in the Mountain Empire district. 
I know playoff seedings are determined by power points. Graham determined their 3 seed by losing to Union in the regular season. Had Graham defeated Union earlier in the year, the G-Men would have finished the regular season at 9-1. That would have secured at least a #2 ... maybe #1 ... seed during the playoffs. Had Graham had either of these seeds ... the weak schedule conversation would have been non-existence.
Just my thoughts ... let the results silence the critics.

Union keeping starters in is a joke!!

You know, they stopped sounding the train horn about midway through the second qtr, LMAO.  Also, the Union stadium announcer is a guy I feel sorry for.  This guy is so depressed that his voice is actually cracking as he's calling the game.  I think the guy literally might have been crying a bit in the late 1st qtr.  Also, Union played the train horn up until the snap of the football all through the first qtr.  That's a bad look, period.  I'm a horn man.  I love horns and whistles and stuff, but playing them literally during the cadence is not cool.  Either way, the train horn has ran out of gas.

Graham’s defense looking much better than the first meeting with Union. 

Haven't posted much this year, but have been following and loving it.  I'm one of the old farts on this board and have seen a lot of high school football throughout my 66yrs of life, and to me it's going to come down to talent and Graham is packed.  Being a Richlands graduate, way back when, and following the Blues for many years, it appears to me that talent travels in cycles in this area.  I think all four teams remaining in this region have good talent, but Graham's talent goes a little deeper than the others, which gives them the edge.  I think Graham will not only win this game, but will make an appearance in the final game as well with a very good chance of bringing home the hardware.  It doesn't matter to me who wins the region, I'll be cheering for the team from this end of the state, even if it is Graham, and I'll say it with all the respect I can muster, (I hate cheering for Graham), but I'll support them with all the energy I have if they win the region.

Train horns, wet field controversy, McDonald's videos, band/player altercations, PoPo/air horn interactions, dropped er uh "caught" TD passes in the endzone on the final play, Central Warrior "brownie out the window of a moving bus at U fans in line" throwing mishaps.
We got more drama than an episode of Jersey Shore or an MTV "paradise" reality show. And we're only on season 9. We got stories for years to come! 😂😂

I believe your pick is way off & you're trying to psyche out GMen 😂! There's no way Graham wins  42-6. It's going to be much closer. Our boys can't run as fast on grass especially wet grass! I like the Union folks fighting with each other though, lol. It's not as good as the video  last year but I guess at this point we'll take it 😂😂😂😂! Do you know if the McDonald's off the exit has McRibs? I feel like graduating from traditional Happy Meal! 😉
