Exactly.
Imagine being on the bench last year knowing that 3 starters are graduating.   Of course you will work your ass off to impress the coach in order to earn one of those spots.  Then you start practice and all of a sudden you learn that a player has been brought in to start because they didn't think you are good enough.  How hard do you work now?
This is probably a factor in the problems at union as well. 

I know that the Bluefield game was only 4 weeks ago, but this is a different RV team than played them. The Beavers did them a favor as it woke the program up. It seemed to be sleep walking up to that game.  Since then they have looked like team we expected coming into the season.  
I’m picking with my heart maybe a bit but I think they find a way to get it done 20-14. I believe this could be a low scoring game as both defenses are really good.

I think some people not even Graham people are trying to get y’all riled up, lol. I’m a Graham faithful and I don’t see Graham by “fiddy” 😂😂😂.

Ridgeview is peaking at the right time.  I have to say after all the fussing I’ve done all season over the play calling these last few games have made up for it.  I’ve been impressed with the offense and the defense is playing even better than they have all year.  Let’s keep it rolling 

The VHSL doesn't care,  they're not going to do anything that will make them spend money,    This transfer BS needs to be stopped and teams guilty of it held accountable,  

If the transfer is legit due to parents relocating then I have no issues with transferring. The problem I have is when high school coaches actively recruit kids from other locations. My daughter has been contacted about transferring. What a coincidence that it’s the same school that made the newspaper! There is no loyalty to your home school anymore and it is sad to me.

I think a Saturday night playoff game would be awesome. 

Margin for error and preparation for round 2. If you are Graham, do you want less time to prepare for Union, or GC by playing Saturday, or do you want to play on Thursday in a game you feel you should win and have the extra day 2 days. I think this is exactly why there is this push (by the home team/higher ranked team) who gets to make the call. They are thinking about round 2 preparation, where they expect the competition to obviously be tougher.
Another thing is margin for error. It's not like the middle of the season where you can find a day or week to make it up. There's no margin for error on Saturday. Meaning....if you schedule on Saturday, if anything, any event or issue comes up, there's no choice but to play on Monday night against a team you feel you an beat anyway, BUT you now have only 3 days to prepare for round 2 on which you k ow the opponent is likely much tougher.

Pack looked really good tonight more so than GC played poorly.  RV won all three phases of the game decidedly.  The offense looked much more crisp and inline with what fans expected.  The defense played very aggressive and got after GC and the special teams was one sided for RV.

I think it was the first offensive play of the game for RV?  Correct me if I'm wrong.  Fans screaming, including neutral ones like me, "Snap ball, one step drop, pass ball very quickly to Beavers."  Well, first offensive play of the game for RV was?  Result was?
But hey, coaches don't read these boards, right?  LOL.  Great job by RV's offensive staff to get the ball to your athletes in OPEN SPACE.  That happened tonight, and give credit where credit is due.  It's one thing to be critical, but it's more important to praise when praise is deserved and changes are made.  Changes were made offensively.  It was obvious by watching it.

By far the most complete game we have played all year, and FINALLY we have done the things we’ve been screaming all year!! Thank you, coaches!! 

I don’t want to speak too soon, but the offense is clicking with some very nice play calls!!
