Granted they have seen individual good players on many teams but not on one team.easy to plan for a good running back on a team. But graham has a good qb. And several good backs and several good receivers.so now you have to defend not one player on a team but several good players on one team.makes for a more challenging situation.

Guess i am strange but overall i was able to follow the game. But hey i work at the state mental hospital so the broadcast is easy to understand

To it would depend on many things and at what age.young kids can have hyperactivity disorder in grade school and get held back or be dyslexic early on and not diagnosed.we have problems with schools just passing kids on because they have problems that teachers did not want to deal with.for things like this i have no problem. But to just hold a kid back for sports.is wrong. If they have the grades should move forward.

First yea i learned to read before you wete born.second no one knows how young players will or will not develope hence my question to you and to anyone that makes a statement anout 2 years from now.heck i can say bland county will win state in 2 years. No facts in that just a statement.who knows their talent level by then. And graham might have kids move.into the area by then. Everything is conjecture anout 2019

Question are you psysic to know what graham will or will not have in 2019.they may have many young kids that will be just as good or yea they may not. But as of right now no one knows what any team will have in 2 years

Well for me as a outsider in that i have seen only one game but listened to all of them here is my take on them.when their starting qb went down they came together as a team. Coach was very inventive. I was at a game and saw players holding cards up for this young qb. I feel that this was the play to run.it worked very good. And actually got the play into him quicker than having a player run it in with each play.thus no delay of game penalities with a backup qb.this is a team.yes they have struggled in a few games but they stayed together,star receiver not getting the catches but not sulking over it. May not like it but to me it seems like he cares about the team winning.this is just my opinion from listening from afar.

I think if you go back and check you may find many at graham had a lot to say about coach marrs during his time ashead coach and how he ran the program into the ground.thst alone would give people from graham a bit of insight to comment on gate city

not many comments this year as in years past. but i hope graham can play up to their ability in this game if so i feel they can win a close one.

went to cave springs scrimmage to watch gmen well was pleasantly pleased graham showed a passing game and running game against both teams. tried to keep up with scores but i thing graham scored 6 or 7 times both with long passes and one long run of 70 yards by qb against cave springs. the line on both sides of the ball did very well protecting the qb and backs. recievers need to stretch out more for the ball but graham was hitting all evening. the heat was oppressive and graham was on the sunny side of the field. over all they looked pretty good to me but just my opinion from what i saw today. even in the heat they were hitting on every play from start to finish.

workman and one other kid from graham signed with concord i think is what i saw.

and graham missed a 2 pt conversion that could have made a difference in the game. every team leaves points on the field,it will come down to graham playing hardnosed defense and hitting. this is what causes turnovers like the fumble against fort.

actually one of the teams was graham at 4-1 only loss to galax. graham beat fort, fort beat galax and galax beat graham i think is how it was.

wonder if they will put in the 2nd and 3rd strings or play the starters until the 4th. myself i think it is time to call off the dogs.

i just think this team really figured out who they are and that they can beat the big teams and teams that everyone says that they cannot. i did see the galax game and to me it looked like the kids did not even have their collective heads in the game, it was like they were somewhere else and just went thru the motions. but give galax credit they came with a great game plan and i give graham credit they too came with a good game plan and used it to win. i feel this is a stepping stone to better things for ghs. they seem to have a very good freshman qb and that bodes well for the future at this position. only time will tell. but again graham may be doing what needs to be done now and getting ready for a few more games in post season.

looks like everyone was wrong about graham and fort.

channel 6 has never covered graham for as long as i can remember. the only time is when we play a west virginia school. we get more coverage from channel 4 in beckley than from our local channel, maybe if advatizers from the va side would boycot them because of this maybe they might give a little more effort.
