If that's the case, then 100% you don't need to play that game. That's a great way to get someones kid hurt when they literally can't come off the field against a team like Salem.
1996 whined and cried to VHSL to get semi playoff game at Grundy moved. Game was moved to Tazewell, worst field conditions than at Grundy. Don’t care how many trophies they have, they’re still a bunch of whiny losers.
Blacksburg is obviously horrible, but to forfeit? Nice way to send your seniors out by taking away their final game. I remember when Unaka (TN) declined to play a 1st round playoff game against an outstanding Greenback team. I didn't like it, but Unaka was down to about (IIRC) 15 players, and it was a 3 hour bus ride to Greenback. Paying for the bus, gas and meals to take a massive beatdown made it more understandable than what Blacksburg is doing.
I understand why this is frowned upon by some, but what does either team gain? The question isn’t if Salem wins, it’s if they hit 100. A loss like that could stop kids from coming out to play for Blacksburg next year. They’ve won a couple games, they have no shot here, I don’t blame them for packing it up.

My Spartans only have 1-2 games max left this season as we will likely will not make it to the second round(same for Tazewell). So I’m just going to sit here, talk s**t and enjoy the ride the rest of this season.
Thanks. I won’t be able to attend tonight so I’m glad there’s somewhere to watch it. From a reliable source the Spartans will be without multiple starting linemen on O and D due to illness(not Covid related). Might be a long night for our boys.

Strictly points until there is a tie breaker. Then you look at head to head first and then it’s like overall record and then I think common opponents etc.

I can only answer for what I know to be factually accurate however Parsell has had visits/invites to both Thiel College in Pennsylvania and at Concord with an upcoming visit scheduled next weekend at Bridgewater. Saunders also had a visit to Concord a couple of weeks ago.
