They lost to Appomattox 14-7.  They beat Goochland, number one seed in the East, if they were in the East as they should be, this would be their number 1 seed.

After Blacksburg it sounded like Abingdon worked on their run game in the Graham game. No doubt the coach and old coach are increasing the balance and ability to spread. Would like to be a fly inside both of these locker rooms, you have to know this is going to be like a major chess battle and  the planning is pretty intense right about now. I'm glad the game will be played at Ernie.  Last year them birds started out blitzing pretty hard, have to think that game from last year is stuck in the mind of everbody from Richlands.  Going to be a great game, tell one tell all 12th man is needed, them birds are coming to Ernie and they are undefeated.

If you have watched the progression of Richlands QBs, by the end of the 1st year is where it starts to really click in.  John Luke is way ahead of the curve.

1992 was 23 seasons ago... I've been out of high school 10 years and I went to the Salem game, just a little prince of Raven at the time, and I barley remember it. I know for damn sure kids playing now know only the stories they are told and even have no idea who Dennis Vaught or Willis White is.
 
As for the refs in Bluefield, I played in a game up there where the refs made their presence known in the final outcome but again that was 13 years ago... 
 
They are bad referees everywhere and there are always two sides to every story but when you win by two touchdowns, don't complain about a damn thing, move on to next week.  

Wouldn't you like to see John Luke run some no huddle.  His progession is getting so good looks like he could be very good with it.

I see what's going on here.  Bob wanted that job with Rod as the SWVA knowledge and got past over.  He's just trying to prove he has what it takes. Sorry Bob, job done taken by one of them Abingdon fellows.

I know your dad to, and know anything he might have said would only be to question what is fair and right.  In the business world charging somebody a second time for something already paid for is just not right. There has to be a better solution than this.  At Richlands games if I need to go out before the end of half I ask for a ticket so I can have it to get back in, this could fix your problems down there.

So, UVA what tools would you use to fix attitudes.  How many millionaires would you say Bud has developed in time.  If  I had ever had a chance like these guys I believe I would have done what is expected of me to get to that pay check.  Take away discipline and what would you have.  If we were behind the scenes and knowing college kids, would imagine the money gets spent on more than food. Have to believe we're judging something without a  complete insight.
