Haysi set the cruise control early in this one. Final was 38-0, could have been 75-0

Castlewood was gritty and played hard. They will do well in the Cumberland.

Early reports were that Haysi had a good transfer at RB who could play and that the Tigers went 5 deep at WR. Well boys im here to tell you that that is the stone cold truth. he Kentucky Kid(I like the name haha) can run!  Hes not a 2,000 yard back but 1,000 is well within reach. Haysi has 3 legit WRs and 2 other guys that are versatile and can easily slide out to WR. Also have enough depth that Sykes(QB) doesnt have to play Defense(a luxury at a school Haysis size). The Tigers had some blocking issues at times but nothing that wasnt corrected later. I feel confident in saying this Haysi team has the potential to be better than last years team, they have the pieces they just have to put them all together. Defensively Haysi looks athletic overall. I was impressed with the OLBs, both look to be 6'2" 175lb. Not huge but really good height/length and build.

Haysi did have 1 OL go out w an injury. It didnt seem too serious but he didnt come back in. Hope the young man is alright.

Got a week off to get ready for Clintwood.

I had made my mind up last night after reading your drivel that I was going to respond to your next post with a picture, depending upon how I felt after I read it.  But I am torn.  I feel emotions ranging from hilarity to scorn, but I'd characterize it as a disappointed pity.  So, to respond to your points appropriately, here's my responses.

One, our "abstinence only" Sex Ed doesn't really go into the scientific facts that it takes sperm 3-5 days to reach an egg, and that the egg takes 7-10 days to implant, therefore any birth control occurring before one week after sex cannot be scientifically termed "abortion" by ANY reasonable measure.  But since you lack that remedial knowledge, I respond with what I figure is a post made by you some time ago:

Two, my 11-month old son tends to disprove your assertion.  So, I reply:

Three, OMG THAT HURT.  YOU USED MY INSULT TO INSULT ME BACK.  Thus, I reply:

Four, YOU are the one who took offense to a snarky joke not even directed toward you, and went out of your way to insult ME.  Thin skin?  Pretty derpy response, old timer.  Thus, I simply reply:

Five, I am not afraid to simply reply:

Do you want to continue this little game?  My position to it all was once succinctly stated by the poet laureate, Clubber Lang: "I reject the challenge, because Bearcat Bob is no challenge.  But I'll be more than happy to beat up on him some more".

Similarly, everyone knows that Ward's behavior was incomprehensibly reckless.

As humans, we have the cognitive ability to make deductions about situations. Stewart put Ward in the wall. Ward was pissed to a level where he became incomprehensibly reckless. Stewart has a history of being a jackass to other drivers and using intimidation tactics to bully. The video footage shows Stewart altering his line in relation to his fellow drivers and moving toward Ward.

I reasonably deduce from this that Stewart was trying to intimidate Ward.

Other reasonable interpretations are possible. However, what disturbs me is that people who disagree with the view I've stated are, somewhat oddly, vigorously attacking that position, as if it were per se unreasonable. And it's not. Neither position is. But it doesn't exactly weaken my perspective to see it under assail.

You do know what I do for a living, don't you? My practice focuses on taking fact patterns and determining their applicability to criminal offenses in a court of law. I do this 3+ times per week on a LIGHT week. So spare my ass the whole holier-than-thou tripe. I will, however, be glad to recommend seasonings for that industrial-sized portion of crow you're ingesting.

Because when you fishtail on those dirt tracks it kicks the tail up the banking. That's how they are designed. Do you think he didn't realize that? He's only raced on dirt his whole life. Do I think he meant to kill him? No. hurt or hit him? No. But he did, he was in control of the car and he has enough experience to know better than play that game.

I posted it on the ChatBox, but how can NASCAR or any other sanctioning body allow him to race after this incident? Particularly with Stewart's past and anger control issues, I think he should be parked for the rest of the season, and a lifetime ban should absolutely be in play. I would give it to him.

I watched that video. Kevin Ward, Jr., was reckless. But Tony was certainly not trying to avoid him. In fact, it looked like Tony drove at him to intimidate him. I don't think Tony tried to hit him, but his anger out him in that position.

I would be surprised too, somebody else took that job.  Also, didn't Tazewell beat George Wythe last season...and is only losing 3 seniors?  I was glad to hear somebody else took the GW job.  Tazewell could use the stability.  Tazewell just may be the best team in Tazewell Co. next season.

I think Houston just drafted ass kickers. Big mean ass kickers

DE Clowney, OG Su'a Filo, TE Fiedororowicz, NG Nix III.  all guys who are said to play with a mean streak.  That front 7 is gonna be rediculious!

I doubt Blackmon will be on the field much this season, hes suspended indefinitely. Bortles has all the measurables but isint "pro ready", he needs some time.

Im of the opinion that teams drafting in the top 5 should trade down because they obviously need a lot of help. Exceptions being when once a decade players come along like Luck and maybe Clowney. Gotta take those guys.

Bortles may be a good QB but him and Bridgewater both look about equal, 3rd overall is just too high to take him imo. I would worry that how does Bortles develop without any offensive weapons. I would rather have a solid RB, WRs, OL and insert a QB in. Now if they draft pieces to go around him this year then its not so bad

Rams DL is gonna be tough for anyone to face.

EXACTLY!!  To listen to sports radio here in St. Louis, or read the newspapers, you would come to the conclusion that no one here is thinking reasonably.  Let's see what Bradford can do when he stays upright for a season, has the same offensive coordinator for more than one season, and has actual talent around him.

The Rams have bigger problems than at QB, I hope they draft or trade for oline and defense instead of gambling on Johnny Football seriously. Being able to stop somebody and protecting a fragile QB is the recipe for success in St Louis

just set the damn limit at "whatever" age cut off for the SR year and don't worry about all this crap...the kids who are holding back for athletic reasons won't want to miss out on a SR year if trying to continue on to college...all this screwing around at the middle school level is ridiculous. 19 years old or younger as of Aug 1st  and 4 years of eligibility from 9-12 to compete is fair for everyone...play within the rules and stop worrying about hold backs...if a kid can hold back and still meet those rules for whatever reason...athletics or academics or even just to allow a kid to emotionally mature for a year...WHATEVER...so be it...you don't need all this crap at the lower levels.

You have to be careful on how much you limit age though. What happens if a kid gets held back in elementary school for legitimate acedemic reasons? Punish this kid that has fought back and now is successful in school? It's not as clear cut as some of you guys think. Virginia rule is you can't be 19 before August 1 to participate in high school sports that year. They have made rules about holding back in 8th grade, and not being able to play sports during the second year. But you can't really punish the kids that struggle through elementary school and make a turn around. I hope this makes sense lol

I'm not saying they will be state contenders, but Tazewell returns 20 of 22 starters and put up a ton of points offensively. Defensively they need to improve, but I feel like that will happen in the weight room. I know there is a lot of excitement going forward with coach Allen being in his third year coming up. I guess time will tell.
