nobody here in Marion are overlooking Union I can guarantee that 

A.   Offense=score points
B.   Defense=stop offense
C.   Whining=A could not stop B

Now that's just my crunching the numbers. Helper or Great State would be the best to ask and Helper will give us some projections soon.
 
It would be better for Richlands if Marion lost to Union but I am pulling for Marion because of my two friends Canes and Hurricane! That's what friends are for I guess...lol

This is the biggest game Marion has played in the regular season in many years and they are ready for this Marion finds a way to win it. Marion 31 Union 28

Neither team has had a difficult schedules. Happy Valley and Volunteer sure aren't what you'd say tough. No matter the schedules, Marion still whips that tail at the end of the season.

The last time the Union came through Smyth County, the Union did pretty well. Not this time.

Well the Blues will be very anxious to see the out come of this one because it will have a big impact on the playoffs. Union has played in several very close games this year and it should help them in this game. Marion has flew under the radar and in my opinion is an underestimated team.
The game being at Marion makes this game much closer than I would have predicted if it would have been at Union.
 
Marion on offense can line up and power run at you with Wagner or spread you out and pass or run Wagner out of that also. That makes them a very difficult team to defend. Wagner must have a big game and run for a 100 yards at least. Marion on defense is where I think they win or lose. Union I think will score many points. Marion will have to get after the Qb with success or they will have to score a lot!
 
I think this will be a high scoring and very exciting game. The Marion fans should be electric and very loud which will have the team fired up and ready to go. Union better not come in flat or they will get beat. I will be pulling for Marion in this one. My friends Canes and Hurricane have waited a long time for a game like this and I am excited for them. It should be a great game and wonderful atmosphere. Good luck to both teams because I have friends in both places. I think this one is a shootout and Unions 4th quarter heroics fall just short this time

Thanks Razor, I like it when we fly under the radar. I'm awaiting the match up at home with Union to see where we stand. The playoffs will be interesting to say the least.

I don't know why we keep leaving Marion out of this conversation. I guess they are right where they want to be. If they win out they will probably get at least one home game and maybe more.

The only "daddy" I was aware of sweeping something under the rug was at Chilhowie two years ago.

I think Abingdon finds a way to win this game but I will also add this is most likely there last win of the season

we also had 7 players out in that Northwood game 6 of them starters with the whole offensive and defensive line and 2 linebackers out I guarantee if we played them right now we would beat them I can see this Marion team going 9-1 and that's not being a homer cause I'm not one to brag about Marion on here just stating the facts
