The McGlothlin's are big blue supporters no matter what, that is very admirable of both of them. They have been nothing but a blessing to all the athletic programs at rhs. As far as I know, Todd will not be playing varsity boys basketball this year because of "injuries he acquired this football season."

Don't see the boys hanging with the speed GHS has, especially with the presence down low (6' 4"). Todd McGlothlin WILL NOT be playing for RHS this year, and that is loss especially after losing Johnson (23-16) per game. The RHS lady's shouldn't have an issue with Raban's rebuilt team this year. Hoping RHS gets the sweep over their old SWD foe.

You've got to understand that Abingdon has dropped two big games in the last two weeks of regular season play. Especially to Tazewell.. Carroll is down, but has always posted good numbers in the SWD. Cave might be 5-5 but they have beaten good teams in their 5 wins. Christiansburg to name one of the important ones. Also, they lost to Salem in the last 11 seconds of the game, they catch a break earlier in the game and they walk away beating a VHSL powerhouse. Abingdon simply cannot compete. Unless of course, Cave makes the mistakes necessary. Tuneovers and special teams are of course important, and will hold a lot of importance in this game. Abingdon might hang, but not for long. The bottom line is that Richlands is going to have to play solid Hard-Nosed football for 48 minutes and, have history on our side and with history comes wisdom, gotta have faith that the staff at Richlands will work thier magic as they do every post season, It's time for the team to start clicking and making things happen between the hashs. Cave will bring talent, but they have copied RHS in more ways than one, it'll cut close if the blues come out on the wrong foot and get behind, but the main thing is to keep them guessing and make plays and play with the HISTORY on our side

Richlands will hold its own a gain this year! Theyre are 8 seniors on the roster. 3 QB'S fighting for the starting posistion

Tazwell is an arch rival of Richlands for many years, the reason being is that Tazwells fans and players tend to say things and do things that are not very respectful. In all my years of being and observer of these teams only on one occasion have I seen tazewell walk away with a win, a win is a win no matter how you did it bad calls, one point, whatever. Tazewell talks trash alot and quiet frankly we are tired of it, so again when you guys learn to play to class we will call it a even match up. Then again who knows tazewell might be a better team idk, but the blues have always won. Back in football i saw a flower arrangement the tazewell comunity sent which was a dozen black roses! AND YOU DIDNT EVEN SCORE A POINT! Class and sportsmanship go a long way in Richlands Go Blues

One thing I have noticed when tazewell plays is when they are down in any sport they wine cry and complain, when the coaches are running there mouths as bad as the FANS and PLAYERS you know you have a problem, Tazewell did bring the heat last night to the blues house but it was a respectful loss. Good job dawgs and learn to play with respect and class

Well as all can see, this game is going to be won on the field and not on paper. Brookville has ALOT to offer. Richlands is just as talented. Everyone from Patrick County spoke about there Running Back, whom was shut down early by the Richlands D. Brookville has the talent and ability to do whatever they want but they only have 3 or 4 really good players that will be a key to beating Richlands(which we hope wont happen) Logan Thomas was a A+ player last year but came up short last year as well.
