Marrs has ruined any traditon at Graham. He is so arrogant that he cares nothing about the kids or the school for that matter, as long as he looks like top dog in everyone's eyes. He has taught nothing to these kids about the game of football except how to make excuses when losing. I'm sorry but i hope Graham doesn't win a game this year and maybe then we can get a real head coach at the school and bring back some life to a storied program, but as for now i won't waste my money on the Doug Marrs show. Good to see Graham's offense finally catching up to the century, Maybe a new defensive scheme would go good also, maybe a 3-3-5 or a 4-2-5? I see the coaches putting the players in the right spots but the players need to make plays on both sides of the ball. Also what is Marrs doing running on 3rd and a mile? Same horrible coaching on his behalf, sad that no one can see the real potential of these kids from Graham

Thats a shocker for me to see Graham's LB's being that small, hopefully they can bring some wood because they have no size. Also Edwards is playing FB? I know that the G-men are running the option but what about blocking? IMO this would have been the year to implement the spread at Graham while you have a young team. As for the Graham/Beaver game, it's just not like it use to be. I'm sure it will be a close one this year not a blowout, but Graham will have to show a ton of heart, Bluefield doesn't really have the stand out playmaker that they usually have but im sure Simon has a very stout backfield as usual. Jones is a good coach, but where he coached at BSC he had to miss the playoffs due to basketball. Is Coach Litz coaching at Bluefield now? Thats the rumor I'm hearing?? Litz IMO was the best coach at Graham and should of been given the head coaching job when Glynn died

Heard Tony was in stable conditon. Zach was released earlier today. It supposedly started as a fist fight and ended in gunshots about 2hrs later on 460. Sad to hear that it has to come to this. Yes, they had no right being out at 3 a.m. but atleast they are not dead. Very sad...

I'm sorry, but i can't sit back and take this any longer. Can anyone not see what is going on??? TJ Marrs-University of Tennessee Alex Marrs-University of North Carolina David Marrs- Deciding between 3 D-1 schools as an "athlete" Now out of all of the athletes that have come from Graham which ones are playing Division 1 football?? What about names like T.J Carper and Steven Brown? George Damon or Josh Broyles to point out a few, well they all ended up at Division III schools and IMO they all had a lot more talent then these 3 boys and dont get me wrong im happy for them, but they are not divison 1 talent and it kills me to see someone get an oppurtunity that they don't deserve when some deserving young man that works very hard and has talent doesn't get the shot. But i guess thats why im sitting at a computer and not recruting but i think that these colleges will soon see what Doug has sent them. Anyways congrats to these 3 young men along with Marcus and Jake

i live back in the sticks and the roads are fine from here (N.Tazewell) to Bluefield, Send the kids to school and look at it this way, you will be closer to summer as in these other schools will be making up days:D

Richlands smacked Graham around for them to be a "strong" team. Carrol hung tough with Richlands, but any given friday...or saturday it could happen, but not this Saturday. I'll take Carrol by 20

Graham has no heart. Doug takes the fun out of the game for the kids and all they see it as is a job not a game. With that being said, Graham beat Grundy and Tazewell and no offense to either program but neither has been worth a darn for a while now, Richlands played around with Graham and got serious in the 2nd half putting up 29 un answered points. I'm a Graham fan but I hope the G-men lose this game for the simple fact that i want Doug gone. I'm going with Graham-26 Abingdon-34

Ben Rife didn't impress me at all last year, yes he was a freshman, but he isn't very fast and can't really dribble. IMO Gunner McGhee will be the best player in the SWD this coming season, he's an all around good player and can take over a game, yes Rife can shoot but he isn't a game changer at all

Well IMO Princeton has more speed than Bluefield, They also outsize the Beavers, the reason Bluefield won, Coaching. Princeton has NONE! Neither does Graham add on the fact that Graham has no speed and im saying that..... Princeton-48 Graham-6

He was injured in a weightlifting accident, where he dropped a barbell on his throat crushing his trachea. He is stable and giving his mother hand signs, he is out for the rest of the football season, but doctors say he will play football again. My prayers go out to him,his family and his teammates.

From my understanding Doug is probably staying to see that his son and nephew get into a D-1 school at a position that there is no talent at. IMO Doug should be removed this year because 1. He tried to get out last year and go to Va High 2. He has driven Graham Football so far into the ground that its not funny. 3. He isn't respected by anyone What I would do is clean out the entire coaching staff and start from there. There has to be a coach out there that is willing to try to bring pride back to Bluefield, the only coach that i would consider keeping is Litz.

Might be a decent game, don't know much about Marion this year but this past couple years these Graham/Marion games seem to be pretty close. Graham has no defense at all, they might as well not even put anyone out there and just let the other team score than taking a chance of getting someone hurt. It seems that Marion has a pretty good defense and after last week Graham is still running the same 5-6 plays every game. With that said im going with..... Marion-34 Graham-17

Don't worry, Graham isn't playing good at all, they turn the ball over and then so does Va High, if Va High weren't so bad this game would already be out of hand

Brewster will be the baggage of the starting 5 for Graham, Woodson will be an ok post player and Bryan will do just fine in the 3 spot. But my question is who will be point guard? Dennah has no leadership nor is he a good "team" player, Sarver is a good point guard but at times he is careless. I don't think that Graham will win the district this year because of teamate problems, that being Brewster and Dennah having to have to ball and neither knowing what to do with it.
