George Wythe looked good. Gate City not so much. Defense for Gate City had some bright spots but still allowed several scores. GC offense was horrible. Did not score and only managed a handful of 1st downs.

Its working fine now.

And little league

No. Its the travel football league. Tri Cities youth football league.

That makes the most sense. Hopefully they can work that out.

Little league numbers are definitely down. Practice started Monday and the redskins have one of the smallest teams I have seen in little league. Hopefully we can get a fix for this in the near future. One thing I like that Akers brought in is travel ball. Just wish we could find a way it didn't coincide with little league basketball. Several new teams joined the travel league this year. Clintwood, Haysi, Central(wise), Patrick Henry, and Hancock County TN.

I think it goes back to when Bluefield was Beaver High School.

Maggie Walker really had no business in 2a. Not certain they should be 3a either.

Got ya. Most of us know it was Graham's right to choose. I don't see why it has to be "neutral". Wouldn't bother me if it was played at Graham. I'll be watching online anyways.

I've not seen very much from GC fans about it. Been seeing a lot of it from other schools for whatever reason though. I think the majority of GC folks are glad to be in the final four.

I stay away from preps. Tech would definitely hold everyone and give a great experience to the players.
