I think varsity is around $90-95 per game currently but I may be wrong. I have been out a couple of years now with my oldest being active with cheerleading and band on Friday nights. Kids are only young once so Im gonna support them as much as possible. JV/Middle School is typically dependent on the schools. There isn't a set price across the board.

If Richlands has their same officials there as they have in little league then plan on being there til midnight. Lol. If Graham doesn't improve in the discipline department they will be in for a long night.

The refs have been bad everywhere this year, we had a punter catch the ball on 1 knee because of a low snap an they allowed the kick which was a good one, holding calls, calling 1st downs without a measurement, a lot were just bad calls. If the VHSL pays them then they ought to do better.
In my opinion it was a false start, it was done in my opinion to try and make the return team jump offside with movement, to me its no different than the defense trying to make the offence jump by calling hut at the line.
Many white hats have been in the same situation with Union and haven’t flagged it...he was wrong. By that interpretation, the offense would be penalized at the ref’s discretion anytime someone jumped offside due to any of the following: a TE or WR shift, a back shift, or a QB going into shotgun from under center...just for starters. Clearly a blown call.
It is what it is, i wouldn't call it a blown call. The second half of the game was great to watch i really thought union was going to pull it out.
I was just letting you know what it says in the rules, i was there and saw the play. The line judge and white hat both droped flags. When i saw the white hats flag i new he was calling it a false start, because of this situation in the case book.
This play is actually in the nfhs football rules case book and if the official determines that the shift was designed to cause the defence to jump offside its a false start. So they got it right.
Was Asbury outside of the tackle box though? I thought he was from my angle and was confused as to why he didn't throw it away given that it was only 2nd down. Am I way off base here?
In high school football there is no outside the tackle box for a passer there has to be a wr in the area but he could have thrown it out of the back of the end zone over any wr's head and been okay.
One thing that really gets me is why u roll jla right on 3rd and goal at 2 yd line. If anything roll him left but what do i know?
If you are talking about the last play, I don't think JLA was rolling out the play was going to number 11 on the bubble screen but he fell down as soon as the ball was snapped. Asbury went that direction on his own.
I think there is a couple of jv games at twin valley starting at 9:30, but the varsity games are supposed to start at 11 with Twin valley vs Castlewood.
Thanks for all the prayers for Derrick , he was transported to UT medical center Monday and moved from ICU to a regular hospital room Wednesday night. He is getting better each day but has a long way to go. Just continue to remember him in your prayers if you can thanks to all that have. With God all things are possible.
I know this is the football forum but since most people are on hear during football I thought I would post it here. Derrick Murphy who played baseball for honaker and was one of the starting pitchers on honakers 2011 state championship team and a senior on Union Colleges baseball team is very sick and in Bristol hospital needing a lot of prayers.
