Irishman reacted to Fairlawncat in week 6 (Spring) sched. & updates
I hear what you are saying, but having more knowledge doesn't necessarily take politics out of the decisions. For example, how many people on the board have had a MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine? Probably, near 100%. How many people have worn a mask over the years to prevent them from getting MMR? I bet...zero percent. So, why are my parents still wearing a mask for Covid when both have been vaccinated? Politics is the answer. Ever wonder why people that have been vaccinated for Covid still are told to wear masks? Why weren't they told to wear a mask against MMR the past 50 years even though they were vaccinated? Politics is the answer

All games called off should be considered forfeits...not just some while others are no contests

Difficulty in installing a NFHS camera for 1 game?
If not E&H then I vote Tennessee High and all of SWVA pack the place and tell Northham to kiss our collective a$$

You’re 6 times less likely to get infected at a Chris Stapleton concert than a high school football game. It’s science.

Where you went wrong is trying to use logic to understand one of Ralph's decisions. You will never be able to arrive at a logical answer for anything he does.

I just don't understand how you just specifically said 3000 in a baseball stadium then immediately follow with outdoor sports 500.

Always go with the more restrictive of the two. Nothing King Ralph does makes a lick of sense.

How arrogant of you. But I guess I should look at who the poster is and that will explain it.

Taken out of context. What Ben was saying was that he was in the field house he said they wanted to put 60 up because it meant they figured out how to put the ball in the end zone. This team has had a terrible time scoring 6 this season, and scoring 60 means you’ve actually put the ball in the end zone. From the way I too it, it wasn’t “let’s put 60 up on Marion because we can.” It was more of a let’s actually score touchdowns and not 4 FGs.
But that’s just one persons opinion.

Everyone but a certain few know exactly why

I will say what I want about him but thanks for your input....and if you don't like it just bypass it

Say whatever you want about him. But find something new for gods sake. It gets old hearing you say the same things on repeat over and over and over and over and over.

Marion has some athletes. Just not enough of them. First TD was a screen pass and he broke a tackle and there wasn’t anyone else on that side of the field to catch him. Second one was a good drive with a few nicely placed passes. Was impressed with the QB. He made some throws.
The starters never took the field on offense in the 2nd half. Webb scored on a punt return TD and the backups scored one TD. I hardly call that running up the score. 🤷🏻♂️
We get it. Thad peed in your Cheerios. You don’t have to keep letting the world know every single week.

If you get it then don't feel the need to reply...don't get upset someone said something negative about the al mighty Richlands coach

If I go to work sober for the first time in 10 years this week, can I get a parade on my way home?

Yes they had a parade before the game and after the game. Well I guess you could say it was more of a "send off" before the game. After the game the players walked down main street. Police escort, fire trucks, ambulances, etc. Lots of community support.

2 parades. 1 before and 1 after. They love their Bulldogs in Tazewell. Always have, win or lose. I think it is awesome. The community hasn't been able to go to the games and cheer on their kids. This is their way of showing support and it is great. The kids loved it

The real flaw in the decision isn’t with the odds. Statistically, it’s a valid play. It’s that the decision removes every sense of risk-reward calculation. The mental hurdle of Tazewell being unable to score on Richlands was very large and very real. Failure there guarantees that you surrender points and forfeit that mental edge. The risk was far and away not worth the reward. And in a game like that, points mattered in a game-altering way.

If I can make a Graham lifer excited for Tazewell football, it’s certainly a job well done!
I’m out of “thanks” emojis for the day, so I’ll thank you again right here. I’ve said before if I had it to over again, I would have started down this path much sooner! I’m excited for what the future holds behind the mic, and here’s to a few more meaningful calls before this season comes to a close!

I couldn't believe it. I was sure he was trying to draw the Bulldogs offsides. I know he has a history of gambling and going on 4th, but that was a huge gamble. Oh well, worked out in the Dogs favor, so not complaining. So glad for Josiah Jordan, Chance Harris, Gavin Nunley, Josh Herndon, Tanner Wimmer, Jayden Taylor and the other seniors. Jordan and Harris both missed this game last year due to injury. The injury bug has hit the dogs hard, really for the past 2 seasons. Im glad they got to play and prove that they could get this win. Couldn't be happier for such a great group of kids. They are truly good kids on and off of the field. Very humble and respectful. Every one of them.

I recall Graham's coach Williams going for it on 4th and 1 from his own 14 against Union a few years back and not making it. I think that was Grahams first possession in that game. Baffling
