I'm telling you, the refs in this game (just judging from Ron Brown's reporting) sound absolutely pitiful in this Union/Richlands game.

All joking aside, good luck Richlands. I hope you guys win. Represent the SWD well along with SWVA in general. I will be cheering for you.

Good game. About all I can say.

What a game!  With 90+ seconds to go, I thought we had it.  Just goes to show that you just never know.   Both teams made a statement tonight...Richlands proved that they are still the team to beat in SWVA and VHS showed that they are on the rise.  Good luck to Richlands next week.

So, is this over with already? Damn, I was just getting into it, can the bickering go on for about 10-15 more pages?

Maybe VHS can wear some longer cleats tomorrow night. It worked for a certain team over 2 decades ago.

sorry i'm late to respond. Just seems to me you guys don't know how to win without the chest thumping...overall your program has been way down for many years, which, trust me I know the feeling...but once you finally win a playoff game you just don't know how to act.  In contrast to teams like Honaker and Clintwood or Richlands who have been winning for years and you just don't see them doing it.  Don't be so hungry for respect to be given, just earn it.

I knew I would be in for a good thread when VA High won, but Jethro is knocking it out of the park this week.

Two dropper passes in the end zone plus Carty tripped over the 5 yard line and went down. That's three TDs that tuened into 6 points (2 good FG and one miss). This game could have been much different. Much credit to the VHS D for stepping up when it counted. It looked to me like VHS was just gassed in the 4th.

What you are doing is called instigating. Every single Richlands poster on here has came out and said "we got our ass whipped by a BETTER team". We haven't made excuses. We haven't blamed refs or lights or bugs or whathaveyou. Yet you come on here and start flapping your jaw and talking trash to us. The same crap happened to me on Facebook. I publicaly state that we got beat by a better team, and every single Tazewell person I have on there jumps all over me talking trash. It's actually very comical that you guys care that much about us losing. And really sad too. So good luck the next two weeks. We will see you guys in a few.

Extremely busy over the weekend and missed the draft. But, still ended up with an extremely good looking line up.
