I have been "out-of-pocket" for awhile and missed much of the football season to date.  Clicked on the SWVAsports board this am to catch up and WTF!  GC fans and their version of "Days of our Lives" have firmly migrated here.  Much like soap operas, you really don't need to watch often, one or two episodes and you are all caught up on the misery and woe.  SSDD, if you know what I mean. 
Hint(s) for some of the more brash, newer posters:  (1) Don't piss off he who wields the hammer; and (2) UVAO knows his stuff.  You better have your ducks in a row before entering battle with either.

And that's the damn problem with this world, trying to please everybody.  You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time...put that in your lesson plan and teach it...

I definitely understand that, as I have been around this rivalry for a long time and was actually fortunate enough to be a part of a win in my first year as a starter during my Sophomore year. I'm just going by how well I know this group of Bearcats, and Vikings for that matter, and the fact that all the ingredients are there for the chance for a win. Rarely do I expect VHS to be competitive in this game, much less win. I would not be surprised if THS wins but I do believe that this is one of those rare years where VHS actually has more talent.

I wish I could be as optimistic as you fellows...but after seeing so many losses over the years, and playing in 4 V-T games, I just do not see it happening. Here's to hoping I am wrong!

Got to agree about Richlands bathroom. Last time I was in the men's room one of the commode's didn't have a stall around it. Would absolutely hate needing to really make number 2 and that be my only option. lol

Almost certainly going to be a Clarke County-Goochland title game this year.  Appomattox stands a fair chance of getting back there if not Clarke or Goochland.
