Lance 228 Report Share Posted September 3, 2005 Graham 24 Blacksburg 14 -Graham should continue it's win streak and march to the playoffs. Grundy 22 Richlands 20 -I'm picking Grundy in the upset of the year. No reason other than I have faith that they will show up to play Friday. Tazewell - open Carrol County - open Abingdon - 23 Va High - 21 -I think Va High has disrespected Abingdon to much over the past few weeks and already thinks they have this game won...mild upset if Abingdon pulls it off. Marion - 21 PH (GS) - 14 -Marion always has a decent team with a lot of talent on the field, they just don't have anyone that knows how to use it properly. If they ever get a good coaching staff they will rule the Highlands. Honaker - 51 John Battle - 6 -Honaker will punish JB for 4 quarters in this game to get it's offense back on track. 200+ yards in the air and on the ground easy. Hurley - 35 Montcalm - 21 -You gotta love Hurley. They look to be on track for the playoffs and are the "feel good" story of the year so far. This is a program that is almost non-existant at this point that is going out and giving 110% every week...gotta love that. They will have another good night and continue to impress. Twin Valley - 28 Greater Beckly Christian - 14 -Panthers will get the win on the road next Sat. Gate City - 42 Pound - 14 -Not as big as last weeks win, but still impressive and GC will use this as a stepping stone to the off week. [/ QUOTE ] so you put us right there about the same level huh? We'll see. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah...you guys are not as good as you think you are...legends in your own minds...as always is the case with Va High. And yes...Marion is 0-2 against (2) 2-0 teams at this point...they have kids that can play just as good as anyone else but have a coaching staff that doesn't know how to use them or prepare them properly...just my personal opinion. GHS89 77 Report Share Posted September 4, 2005 Graham-35 Blacksburg-0 This score depends on two things, those being; -Graham holds onto the football, literally. -Blacksburg cannot come up with the speed and athletes that Bluefield and Martinsville had. I don't see any greater TEAM speed in Graham's remaining opponents, other than Bluefield II. Let defense reign!!

parsons 178 Report Share Posted September 4, 2005 these predictions of grundy playing richlands close defy all logic.....just last week they lost by 29 to Clintwood.....the game may possibly (don't really expect it) end up close because strange things happen.....but no way is that defense going to stop r'lands offense....i understand the d looked bad against hazard also.....
