Legitimiate question for Obama supporters...

I cant stand to look at this anymore. Its Sickening.

ANYONE who EVER cuts down a POW for his service needs to get a reality check. As I have posted before, it is DOCUMENTED that McCain was treated worse than most POWs. HE WAS LEFT TO DIE. Why do you think he cant move his arms above his shoulders, and still can not type effectively. And he crashed 4 planes, ONLY 1 was his fault. I mentioned this earlier.

For what it's worth....reading the AJC a few wks. ago.....(they have vents for sports and everyday life comments).....this is what a venter wrote :

"I am a veteran that served three tours in Viet Nam........my biggest FEAR was not being killed but being taken as a POW."

That resonated with me.....a soldier that had served in Viet Nam not one time but three times....someone that knew exactly what went on in those POW camps and would rather be killed than endure the horrific treatment at the hands of the Viet Cong.

Would any of us have said NO to being released if given the chance of freedom and escape from such brutality????? I will confess right now.....I would have jumped at the chance of release if I had been in McCain's place.

I was not "warm and fuzzy" about McCain as the republican presidental candidate....but to know that he CHOSE to NOT accept their offer told me more about this man's character than anything his mother, family, friends, employees or whomever could SAY to get me to vote for this man.

Would you give up 5 1/2 yrs. of your life....being tortured daily....and if not physical torture everyday....there was daily mental torture....thoughts, fears and sheer terror flowing in your veins from being in such a situation and never knowing when they would come in the door to get you.

This was/is "real stuff" not made up for a fictional movie or book .......not from McCain's own mouth....but from POWS there that endured much of the same.

I'm not posting this to change anyone's mind....but McCain didn't just talk the talk....he "walked what he talked." You can thank him and all the other veterans that have defended your freedom to vote for whomever you choose.

It's America....freedom of speech. Disrespecting other Americans is a disgrace....whether you're disrespecting a military person or a "liberal"....practice what you preach.

I didn't write anything about anyone not having fredom of speech, this is the problem with arguing with liberals, they make things up and don't use common sense. Common sense says if you disrespect the service of people in the military and post something downright disgraceful about a situation where someone was a pow for 5 years, as was posted, you can expect the heat for it. Labling obama a socialist or anyone who thinks like him is nothing more than saying what he is and what they are, writing how policies fail or have failed in history is nothing but factual ect..

I know you can, but only 1 of us is willing to actually back up their statements with a debate about it using facts, rather than just saying I'm right.

Here's a fact for you...I'm right and you're wrong. Debate over.

Man this isnt fair. Im out numbered. Im going home!!

I can't wait until Tuesday!!

If you mean for all of this to be over, then I understand.

If you think that if Obama wins it deems you right, well then you have a majority fallicy on your hands. If the majority agrees, it doesnt deem anyone "right". We wont know who made the right decision for awhile, if we ever will at all.

I agree that it does divide the nation. I think it has gotten worse since 2000. When Al Gore didn't concede it just dramatized the whole situation and increased bitterness. I feel like that was one of the lowest point in our nations history. It has since continued into the halls of congress where nothing can be achieved. Its too much about Republican/Democrat instead of America. The reason I like McCain because in the past 8 years he has been one of the few candidates trying to work with the Democrats. There were times when Biden would reach across to the Republicans. Unfortunately the majority of the time, people like Biden, Pelosi, and Harry Reid spent their days on the job trying to impeach President Bush instead of working on key issues such as alternative energy sources, mortgage crisis, or illegal immigration.

What a wonderful way to end such an informative discussion with such a garbage answer. I wonder how many minds this thread has changed about the election. Believe me, I know you're not one of them.

Call me a Pitt fan if you like but, I'm diggin the Saints.

You honestly think I give a fu*ck what you think about my answer? I sure as hell don't. I voted for Obama for what he's going to do in the future and not what he's done in the pass...

So S my C!

What has Obama done against the pass??? Maybe WVU should hire him! :D

P.S. - If McCain gets elected, rumor has it that he is going to hire Bud Foster for Secretary of Defense!
