I don't hold to everything that Alex Jones says or does , but I am interested in watching this video.

http://infowars-shop.stores.yahoo.net/obdedvd.html

I took a look at your link and the first paragraph is hilarious.

Now that the establishment has anointed and installed Barack Obama as president and the corporate media has heaped effusive praise upon this banker vetted front man, it is time for a documentary to reveal the real agenda behind the man billed as our savior and messiah. Alex Jones' The Obama Deception is just such a documentary. It reveals in the concise and hard-hitting fashion Jones is now legendary for, the real agenda behind the Barack Obama administration.

the establishment? banker? savior and messiah? Nothing like attempting to split a country over BS.

I assume you all think he is muslim and is planning on destroying the country and making us the United States of Islam. Non partisan ......maybe......BS definitely. Crazy stuff here. I'm not getting into a big discussion over this. I'd almost waste my time to watch it to see how screwed up this guy is. Did you guys watch Farhenheit 9-11? What did you think and why?

I understand that you don't buy everything he says and you may be just interested in what he has to say, but I can't take the guy seriously for the above paragraph. This dude is out to make money and that seems to be his sole purpose. But that's just me.

Such a statement from someone who has voiced support Michael Moore's books and films. Come on General "Whats good for the Goose .......?"

I've never voiced support for Moore's books and films. I may have mentioned something from them, but never claimed them as the truth , the whole truth, so help me GOD! This guy seems crazier than bat poop. But that's just me.

You cant have it both ways. Both are probably over the top documentaries, just like the good ol Inconvient Lie.

As for how you claim no one thinks he is the messiah, and your rant about Islam, well...

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/?pageId=77539

I ask that you either look up who is Farrakkhan, cause he is the head of Islam, and he is a very very scary man. From what little i know about you FG, he thinks you are inferior and you might say he hates you. I know he thinks that about me.

Oh and ill show you crazy... http://obamamessiah.blogspot.com/

But does that make Obama something to be scared of? Probably not.

Obama may not be billed as a Messiah for most, but is he a creation of the media lovefest? Yes. And I think the movie will attack that more than anything.

Didn't read the recent poll about obama being bigger to many people than Jesus? I even heard 1 of his supporters read a poem about him in which he claimed him to be a messiah. There's a long list of celebrity and media quotes about him that basically show these people worship him or think way to highly of him. Obama saying he was an advanced soul, demi moore calling herself his servant, have you watched many of his town meeting type of events with the people falling all over themselves in his presence?

Sadly to many of poor or lazy he is exactly a savior when he promises to do for them.

I don't know exactly what to make of his preference for muslim support or if it's an agenda, even though I don't agree it's in this country's best interests.

But, I do believe his intentions are to make things so hard economically that "government has to step in an intervene, and take things over in many matters", to make people dependent on government more and more and secure power for not only the democrats but to usher in socialism. It still completely baffles me how anyone could possibly look at what's he's already done and intends to do could suggest that it's not blatant socialism. Anyone who thinks it's not is in sheer denial.

I should mention I haven't watched the video but will.

There are many people that feel that GOD answered their prayers that he may be put into office. I'm sure that there are some groups because he isn't the typical old white guy, that are all jacked up that he is in office. Any of that is fine, it doesn't say anything of him. Sure there is a lot of media hype around him and this administration, it has probably gotten more attention than the last few presidents. Our country has some huge problems abroad and at home and it's up to this administration to try to right the ship. I'm sure a lot of you will disagree with some if not all that he has done and some have already made up your mind that no matter what he does, it will also be wrong.

I had no rant on Islam, I only said I assume some of you think that he is Muslim and he is looking to destroy our country. Which I've heard the idiots throw that one around too.

What does ole Louis Farrakhan have to do with anything. He can say what he wants, but I assume you think he is crazy as well as scary. Just because he is partially African American, you will have that type of reaction from Farrakhan. I know who he is, but I don't see his relevance here.

The movie will concentrate on several BS things I'm sure of it, some mentioned above. I'm sure the media lovefest will be there. I mean the man is brought in after a controversial administration leaves office and everyone is looking for something to cling to, some sort of hope. That is why he has such high expectations.

First off he is part Muslim, thats why you have the reaction from Farrakhan, not black. He is the leader of the nation of Islam you know.

Here are some quotes from him:

"Hitler was a great man"

He said the war against Libya, in 1986 was in actuality, a war against him.

"White people are potential humans — they haven't evolved yet"

"Murder and lying comes easy for white people."

"The God I follow teaches me to call the white man the skunk of the Earth"

He once said that Black people have the aids virus because Jewish Doctors injected him with it. He is a very powerful, yet extreme man. And the fact that he thinks a non-Islamic person is the "messiah" well that just goes to show you that it isnt just because of his color, it is his policies and his stardom.

First of all, your slight hints at Republicans and their racism are shallow at best. You are claiming that some people are upset and denying Obama the chance to lead all because isn't the "typical old white guy", and you are assuming that some believe he is Muslim. If you'll look at the current events that have transpired recently, you'll see that a guy named Piyush Bobby Jindal has stepped up to the plate and has drawn a lot of support from conservatives and liberals who both oppose the stimulus plan. Jindal isn't your "typical old white guy". In fact, he is quite the opposite. He is a young Indian. He has taken one of the most southern and historically racist states in the country and completely turned it around. How could anyone, much less Republicans, elect a minority?

The only media hype around surrounding Obama is the LIBERAL MEDIA. You're probably right in the sense that Obama didn't have a lot of right wing support going into office, but there are also many people, including myself and many on this board, who backed him until he gave them reason not to. He has already began one of the most liberal agendas in U.S. history up to this point, and his "bipartisan" stimulus bill who drew support from a whopping 3 Rupublicans has worked wonders too.

The main point is that Michael Moore's "documentaries" had no more substance than this Obama film should have. I wonder what Michael Moore has to say now that his own are doing the same things that he accused the Republicans of doing in Fahrenheit 911. He caused a huge uproar over the Patriot Act and how no one read it, and that is the exact same thing that happened several weeks ago when the stimulus bill came through Congress. Just as UVAObserver pointed out in an earlier thread, it is a common thing to do in not reading the whole bill because they have previously received a briefing of its content. This is just one example of how almost, if not every "fact" in these movies are true, yet have been twisted and manipulated into a completely different meaning.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I think Farrakhan is a crazy mofo. I still feel that his reasoning is partially race. It has nothing to do with Islam because Barrack isn't Muslim. I don't see any policy that makes him the "messiah" and stardom as you call it is just because everyone is looking to him to "save" the country from the mess it has been put in.

No, I have heard that from a few people that are anti-Obama. The majority of those people have a problem with him because of skin color or other very pathetic things. I was being sarcastic when I say that I assume SOME of you feel this way and I'm sure there are some here that do.

I'm not saying Republicans are racist, there is racism on both sides of the isle as far as citizen support or lack thereof.

As far as the support on the board, well it's been very little if any to begin with. It's easy to say I hope he does well and does the right thing. That isn't support. Anyway, what should he have done rather than a stimulus package?

I don't hold any of Moore's movies to be the whole truth as I have said. Someone else brought up his films. I simply said Jone's is crazy as owl poop. He seems to be preying on the the religion of many and those "sheep" as some have mentioned in earlier posts and their very outlandish fears. He is out to make money and the more outlandish and controversial , the better.

Once again, I'm being sarcastic with the "old white guy" and such. It's amazing how much of that is out there.

anyone that voted for Barack Obama because he is black is a RACIST!

As I said earlier, I do not subscribe to everything that Alex Jones says, does or believes, I do think that the video will be interesting however. It probably will include half truths and whole truths, the viewer will need to research and discern for themself.

What is happening to America is called Liberal Fascism it is a brand of socialism and it is much like what is happening in Europe and preparing to happen in Israel with the newly elected government.

Author Jonah Goldberg has written a great book that every American SHOULD read it is titled Liberal Fascism.

Google it...............

I didn't vote for him because he was black, but I'm sure there are some who did because they wanted an African American in office for the first time in our nation's rich history. It does not matter what color or race he may be, it only matters what he does and what his intentions are while in office. I wouldn't say that all people who voted for him because of his race are racist. That's a bold statement, maybe you are intending on being sarcastic, not sure. Some sure , it's probably true, but many for other reasons. That isn't a good reason to vote for a president, but I'm sure there were many who voted for McCain because he wasn't partially african american!

I agree that Jones isn't out for the whole truth, sure there may be a few, but the same with Moore. I'm sure both have / had an agenda and some of which was propaganda on both. In the end, they wanted to get their view / opinion out and make money from some very harsh accusations.

I am just curious what some of you would have done with the economy the way it is. What should Obama have done instead of the stimulus package and so forth. I'm not stirring a pot or anything, just asking your opinion.

What would you say about someone that voted for McCain because he was white?

Depends on intent. If they voted for him because they didn't want a partially black guy in office, then it's racist. If they voted for Obama because they wanted to be a part of and witness history, it's not racism. I agree that it's stupid to vote based on race on either account, but it's different to vote on one because of the dislike of one race and vote on one because you want to see history take place. I agree that there were both sides that voted for racist issues which is ignorant.

But isn't voting for Obama for wanting "to be a part of and witness history", aren't you voting for Obama indirectly based on the color of his skin? Race should have exactly 0.00% to do with it, indirect or not.
