anyone that's familiar with tech's seating chart, is row AA 26 rows up? is that how it works?

Depends on where the Section starts at letter wise. The closer to the endzone you get, the first row may be letter F, for example. But in essence, it's the 26th row up in the center. If that makes sense.

it probably does make sense, but i'm still lost lol

if it's row AA section 8, do you or anyone else know which row(number wise) it would be? I figured since there is 26 alphabetical letters that AA will be row #27? maybe not though.

I'm pretty sure I is left out. What I'm saying is towards the sides of the stadium, row AA may actually be row 19, because the rows start at F as opposed to A.

Hahaha. Take your pick of tailgate. I had planned on drinking a few since Rach could drive me home, however now that I'm taking the brother, that is now out of the question. Oh well. Lol.

If you're anywhere near the commuter lot... big blowup Hokie Bird, a TV (if buddy brings it), and of course.. alcohol. And even if you see that and it turns out not to be my tailgate, it's all good because those people sound pretty cool anyway.

Everyone be safe driving to Blacksburg today! I can't leave Claypool Hill until about 4:45, so I'm not going to have much time to tailgate. I just hope to get to my seat for Enter Sandman.

You should have plenty of time...kickoff is at 8PM...

You should make it. I'm heading out now. Gonna head to my best friends house before the game.

Yeah, I know we can make it by kickoff, I just wish we had more time to tailgate. We are traveling with 6 other people (most of them women*) so who knows how long it will take us to get there. Hopefully we get to our parking spot (back by the airport) by 7:00 after we stop and grab a bite to eat. By the time we walk to our buddies tailgate on Chicken Hill (lot 5) it will be about time to head into the stadium.

*No offense to the women on this board...but let's face it, men spend at least half of their lives waiting on women.

BOOM. POTY.

That being said, you're in my thoughts, BBA. I'll drink a couple more in your honor.

EDIT: Except, I will say there is one woman who doesn't play when it comes to VT football and her set schedule... and that woman is none other than Mrs. GMan. She's good.

Much appreciated!

My wife usually isn't too bad, not because of her love for football, but mostly because she is a stickler for sticking to a schedule. It's the other women going with us that I have to worry about.

It is freezing here on campus, winds are ridiculous. Better bring something that can block the wind.

Hypothesis: It's more fun drinking than working.

Method: Getting off work to drink in 1 hr 45 min

Variables: Beer, Food, Work, Computer

Conditions: Food and Beer together, outside versus Work and Computer, inside

Results: TBD

Three thoughts, and only three thoughts, because if I say what I feel like saying, I will be permabanned. These will be my only comments.

1. This is quite possibly the worst officiating job that I have ever seen in my life. Only one other time in my life have I ever been upset about officiating like I am tonight, and that was at the 2005 Women's ACC Basketball Tournament. I've seen enough games to know when something's not right, and this game was obviously altered in the favor of VT. PI calls on balls literally 15 yards away. Obvious fumbles not reviewed. Phantom holds. Offensive PI when the WR was everything short of sodomized.

2. The ESPN telecast was unwatchable. Since this is a PG-13 site, I cannot tell you the scores of pornographic imagery that apply to the level of bias in favor of Virginia Tech. The Bachelor was praising Logan Thomas for AUDIBLING, the 1st and only time in the game he did (in the 3rd quarter). QBs learn to do that in high school, but Logan Thomas is surely the greatest quarterback in history for making a read that Mike Rocco makes 10-15 times per game.

3. If VT plays like this in 9 days, not only will the streak end, but it will end by double-digits.

I would say that I hope we can beat FSU, but knowing the ACC and its officiating mandates, the zebras will not allow us to win. It would interfere with what the ACC deems an appropriate championship game.
