Obama is by far the WORST President in American history. He has went above the constitution for his benefit. He has added trillions of dollars to the deficit when he said he would cut in half. He has lied to the American people on more than one occasion. The economy still sucks. How can any American, or in fact any liberal defend the guy? I'm waiting for someone to defend him.

Hahaha, I'm not defending Obama, but to call him THE WORST is a bit rash. Go google Herbert Hoover or James Buchanon. Or hell, google "worst us presidents" and read what happened to the US under some of those guys. My guess is that your opinion won't change, but it would still do you some good.

What has Obama done for our country? Because I can tell you what he has done to hurt our country.

Not to mention that you liberals will vote for a man even though he has hurt the business environment of your local communities. Pathetic!

Ha, I knew that post would be a bee in your bonnet.

As I said (and what you obviously missed), go back and look through the ineptitude of past presidents. I can assure it's even worse than this president.

Once again. Obama's policies have HURT businesses in your local community. How can you defend that?

"Who will play the role of Ollie? "

Forget Ollie- who will play Fawn Hall ?

"Go google Herbert Hoover or James Buchanon"

"Franklin Pierce, Millard Fillmore rank in the pantheon of wretched Presidents."

Depends on who writes the history. Fillmore, for instance, was not all that bad. Pierce was not popular in the North but was very popular in the South- especially in this section. We really have been blessed in having very few really bad Presidents. No real fools in office- stupid men don't really get elected. Many of the so-called great Presidents are ones that I have disagreements with- respect the intellect but don't like the policies. One example is Wilson- another Lincoln- respect his intellect but I would have fought against him.

IMO Obama is the worse President in U.S. History.

His complete disregard for the Constitution, his continuous efforts to bypass congress, the unbelievable debt that he has generated, a foreign policy that makes Carter look aggressive, a plethora of broken promises (LIES), his Chicago style Politics and his relationship with past associates, pastors, Marxist etc, make him the overwhelming winner in my book.

Fillmore, Hoover etc, could not hold a light to the level of damage that this community organizer has done to our nation!

Worst President ever, Herbert Hoover. The man set back and did NOTHING as the depression worsened(basically he believed whole heartedly in Free Market and that te economy would fix itself). When he did finally make attempts to correct the issues his corrections were either too small to have any real effect or were far too late to help.

But I will say I feel that Obama has been a bad president. Im ok with alot of his concepts, his way of going about it is just reckless and ill concieved imo

Im hoping Romney will win this election, get the country to a stable state and then in 8 years the Democrats and Republicans can give the nation better candidates and we can move forward.

Is it sad that thats my best case scenario?

It is intentional but I dont think hes out to screw America, completly bring down our country and rebuild it as a Socialist state. He is definately taking a different approach(in just about every way he could) and im fine with most of that(foreign policy for example) but I cant agree with spending money we dont have, not on such a large scale atleast and setting up programs that we cant pay for.

Do you really think Obama wants the US to be in debt? That his goal is to dig a hole we will be digging out of for the next few decades?

I think its just the only way he sees to make the changes he thinks are needed. and I disagree with that policy. Debt is not a bad thing(most of us on here are in debt), its just the ammount of debt that I cant support.

Ahh, all of the Sturm und Drang over the Presidency. It is great that the interest is so high, I just wish both would speak truth. Truth is our economic problems are global in nature, and those who control the world economy (corporations & lenders) prefer it when nations are in debt.

From my view, the President outcome is a moot point. There will be no substantive change in Congress, where decisions are made. No matter if the Democrats lose the majority in the Senate, they well still control 40 seats. (Under Senate Cloture rules, 60 members must agree for a bill to be taken up for final action.) So 40 seats to either party gridlocks that chamber. (Witness the last two years.) Based on all the projections that I have seen, the Republicans will still maintain control of the House by at least 10 seats.

Since it is clear that Congress will remain gridlocked by hyper-partisan parties, I see no end to the governmental quagmire that is killing our country.
