Popeye
Good news for the g-men. Hope they have dialed onto something. Still a bit hesitant as Glenvar graduated 16 seniors from last year's team and Gretna has fallen. Still a confidence booster.
SW_VA_boy
MED wise, Narrows and Graham showed improvement. Granted against different levels of competition. Bland and Fort had rough going. Grayson looked competitive and Galax dominated. Have to say the Fort score against a weak JSB team surprises me.
Account Deleted
Galax may have developed a passing game. QB finished 10-12 for 244 yards and 2 td's. If this bares out over the course of the season, Galax will be tough to beat.
Akshun
Glenvar dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. The running back #3 nearly average 10-12 yards per carry. Glenvar had 2 interceptions against Graham QB, and Glenvar had 1 fumble turnover. Graham could not run the ball on Glenvar, their running back was in the negative for yards. Graham scored on a long pass with 25 seconds to play. The kid from Graham made a great play with triple coverage.

Account Deleted
Yeah but it was against my Cavs. Take it with a grain of salt.Thats why I mentioned lets see how it carries into the season. It will take Carroll and Fort a few years to recover from Tom Hale.

Looks like Galax has the next Peoples family star coming on. Dougie Peoples ran the ball very well last night as a freshman. Scored at least once I know of. Single A west
Well said on hale- Carroll was left in ruins and did some damage to fort in less than a year. If he was at fort this year they would finish 1-9, 2-8 and would have damaged the program another 3 years . He's gone so may just struggle this year. Have a good coach now. The MED is better when Galax, Graham, Grayson and Fort are good. A rising tide lifts all boats.
