Bulldogs52 484 Report Share Posted September 13, 2016 The dawgs coming off a big win, feel they carry it on in this game... just feed it to Harris!
Ryan4VT 4,557 Report Share Posted September 13, 2016 This game is one I'm struggling with in the pick'em. Chilhowie has has some good games, and Tazewell is coming off the win. I think this will be a close game either way.

stu_bean 1,058 Report Share Posted September 13, 2016 Think it comes down to one thing...did the dogs learn how to tackle and wrap up runners?
SpillBoss 129 Report Share Posted September 13, 2016 If they keep containment and have better tackling, it'll be a close game. The emotion will carry over and I feel they'll squeak this one out.
old_school 78 Report Share Posted September 13, 2016 I think Tazewell wins. We won last year by 13 and our offense is a little more explosive this year. Tackling is still an issue but the momentum from last week carries over. Dogs- 32 Warriors-

Gunz9 71 Report Share Posted September 14, 2016 Tazewell has a huge line and will dominate because of it. I'm guessing 200+ yards for Harris. Tazewell by 17 at least.

SWVAFB 218 Report Share Posted September 14, 2016 Tazewell is coming off a win over Grayson Co, with loses to VA High and Graham. Chilhowie has won 2, JIB and Twin Springs, and got blitzed by Marion in game 1. Tazewell has played the toughest schedule Tazewell is 2A, Chilhowie is still Rebuilding in 1A. I don't think Chilhowie will be able to control Harris. Dawgs by at least 2 TD's.
Bulldogs52 484 Author Report Share Posted September 14, 2016 So I read today this will be the final regular season match-up between these two. Started out as scrimmages, then benefit games to pretty intense match up.... Hate to see it end!
SWVAFB 218 Report Share Posted September 15, 2016 Bulldogs52, where did you get your info on the series between Tazewell/Chilhowie Ending this year. I am with you....sad, this was always a good game when the Two played
warrior4uva 13 Report Share Posted September 15, 2016 Chilhowie is still young but talented. It's just according to which team shows up. I do think they can make a game of it and maybe even pull it out if they play ball. Already showed much improvement from last year on the win-lost record and on the playing field. SWVAFB 218 Report Share Posted September 16, 2016 I agree with warrioruva, Chilhowie is known not to show up in some games they can Compete in. Not sure what the problem is, but the fans agree you never no which Team will run onto the field. They have the talent to win, but sometimes you wonder About the desire. SpillBoss 129 Report Share Posted September 17, 2016 Poor blocking, poor tackling, poor play calling. Chilhowie wins 60-48.
SWVAFB 218 Report Share Posted September 17, 2016 WOW, want a Offensive shoot out! Chilhowie came ready to play in this one when they Ran onto the field. The Warriors showed up to play, and so did Tazewell. That was One heck of a Football game. It was like 2 prize fighter squaring off for 12 rounds. One would go down, and get back up to be hit again. The Chilhowie fans knew Chilhowie had the talent to win games like this one, It was just getting them in the right frame of mind. Tazewell has a good team. That QB and RB is two of the best combos I have seen This year. Harris is the quickest RB in SWVA! In my opinion, there were no losers Tonight in Tazewell. Hold you heads up high, both Warriors and Dawgs.
old_school 78 Report Share Posted September 17, 2016 Tazewell just can't tackle a bowl of chocolate ice cream right now. I don't see it getting any better for them either. They have an offense that can move the ball but defense is horrible. as the old saying goes "offense sells tickets, defense wins games" The next 3 games are going to be a test for them. Hokie Bound 109 Report Share Posted September 17, 2016 Points Points and more Points. Chilhowie is very talented and will be for the foreseeable future. They will be a very tough out starting next year with the new divisions taking place. I say this if and only if they can get things together and be more consistant.
