Be nice to see an all SWD State Championship Game

TOTALLY not a SWVA or VA Score but since I've been posting scores and looking at this screen for sometime...I’m gonna post the following... My local high school, North Gwinnett HS, won the Georgia Girls State Soccer AAAAAAA Championship recently. They beat Lambert HS (Forsyth County ) who was undefeated for the season. Lambert had allowed only 3 goals for the year and was ranked nationally as the #2 soccer team in the nation. (BTW the first head FB coach at Lambert was a Richlands' grad) After the NG win, Lambert dropped to #18 in the national poll and N. Gwinnett entered the USA TODAY rankings at #15. Parkview HS, (also, a Gwinnett school) dropped from # 20 to #22 after being beaten by N. Gwinnett in the semi finals.

We’re about to see just how well SWVA marches up. Richlands vs. Page Lebanon vs. Madison Region B vs. D in each semifinal.

The reality is softball is the most competitive sport top to bottom across the state of Virginia of the major sports. Sure there are some bad teams but as a whole but they are much more scarce than most other sports inside the VHSL.

The best pitcher in 2A plays for Richlands not Lebanon or Page County. I agree , Lebanon & Page Co would be worth $10 ticket though. (Edit: Oops, missed you were talking about baseball)...in that case, yes I agree!)

The top of SWVA is every bit as strong. I think depth is the determining factor there.
