I guess we need to keep in mind that we had some kids on last year's D that would make any coordinator look good.

I do miss Rhodes, but given what we lost, our D is doing pretty good this year. I'm still on the fence about several areas, but I think we're making improvements each week though.

I think inserting Gibson to corner and moving Jenkins to safety has improved the secondary quite a bit. It sucks for Falin though because I thought he was doing a pretty good job back there.

I didn't see as much T-formation as I saw triple option plays. Lotta option from GC last night.

GC was overmatched talent wise but the kids played hard all night. I know Akers has been a disaster but it is a credit to him, the assistants and the kids that they played their hardest every minute last night. It did extend the game and make the last four minutes last FOREVER lol but the kids deserve a chance to play as hard as they can til the end.

does anyone know Turners stat line? He was very good last night. I am curious to his completions and attempts, he didn't put up 400 yards or anything but I'm not sure he missed more than 1-2 passes if any.

    7 of 7 for 124 yards.

  3. I’m not sure how to feel about the offensive situation. I know the offensive coaches have the ability to throw in some more complex systems because in 2015 the Union offense was dynamite. Of course you had some amazing athletes on that team, so take it with a grain of salt. I know this years athletes don’t match up to those, but I feel they should be capable of opening it up much more than they are.

I wanted to clarify that I wasn't going after the Bear Nation. Just one person who has gone after Ridgeview from the start.

@Unionguy_2017 @Union's hammer enjoyed our pre game chat.

@Union_Fan Still haven't got to meet you. Hope to someday. You're well respected on this board.

@BigWinners I tried to get a message out to you at halftime but there was no way with the cell signal fried... Maybe we can meet up down the road.

Go Bears the rest of the way. After all, you win out, that's 18 bonus power points for us. Lol

Likewise, I look forward to a possible rematch. Other than the outcome, I think we all had a good time yesterday and last night.

I completely understand wanting to establish the run but we have to many options in the passing game to stay in be T, especially when a team is dead set on stopping it. IMO, #10 & #80 for Union need to play more of a role in the offense. And I’d love to see them use the middle of the field.

I do wish they were used more. I’m not sure it would have made the biggest difference tonight though.

I think Ridgeview was simply the best team tonight. Good luck to the Pack the rest of the way.

    Hoping for a rematch!

I agree with this. With the way the game went, I’m surprised the score wasn’t worse than it was.

#7 for Ridgeview was all over the field. Very impressive.

    Congrats.

Not making a pick.  Just going to let it play out.  This has potential to be a game for the ages that's all I will say about it.

Even if Union were to win by 40 points i’d Be disappointed that it wasn’t a classic. Lol.

He's certainly got the tools to be a dandy one. Good frame and strong arm. Once her gets the reps down and accuracy up he'll be solid.

The arm strength really sticks out. Some people at the game tonight who hadn’t seen him play let out a collective, “woah” when he started slinging the ball around.

  9. It’s gonna be one for the ages. Union has improved dramatically from what they showed in the Burton game. They grew up during the Richlands game. Now, they get to come to the Ridge and take on the Wolfpack. It could go either way.

    Bears 27

    Pack 23
