For some reason, there was very few people at Ridgeview tonight as well. Not sure if everyone took for granted we were going to win the game or not.

Hurley 54, Twin Valley 12 Final

You're right. It was my senior year, how could have I forgot? Lol
Haha!

Allen Gregory normally does the 2A and Abingdon picks. Tim Hayes normally does the 1A and Nate Hubbard normally does the Tennessee side I believe. Since Grayson is 2A and GW is 1A, not sure who would've made that pick. I'm going to guess Tim did, since GW being the 1A is in the coverage area and Grayson is not.
-
I knew you all were a bunch of pansies... Lol
Could be that 1995 PV loss to Haysi in the playoffs had something to do with that? :D
-
Very interesting tidbit from today's BHC, they picked Grayson County to beat George Wythe tonight... hmmmmmmmmm....
-
It's not being played at Bullitt Park... ;)
-
He was disgruntled with coach at the time. And I wonder that myself. The parent I speak of, I haven't seen at a game this year.
-
I made it to the Richlands/Union game this year at 6:30 and there were still plenty of seats available. Shocked me.
I have this happen at the Arby's Classic all the time. I will put my program or something on my bleacher seat marking my spot and go to the concession stands in between games and come back and find my stuff moved down a bleacher or moved over. Pisses me off. And it's almost always Sullivan East imbeciles also, which is one of the reasons I hate them so bad. Lol
-
If Richlands doesn't win this week, @Ryan4VT may be seen walking around campus in Blacksburg with a paper bag over his head with the lightning 'R' colored on it. :D
-
-
Most likely so. I still fear Lee more than I do Richlands at this point though. I'm especially interested in what Lee can do with Abingdon next week in the final week.
-
Yes sir. I admit I was one of the Debbie Downers last year as well as a majority of the few fans that were showing up at games. I remember being at that Marion game last year and our fans absolutely lacing Mullins with profanity. A parent, who I went to high school with said at that same game last year he wasn't going to let his kid play this year and he kept to his word. His son's not playing this year. But somehow, someway, Mullins has righted the ship in Dickenson County. Chalk it up to a more diverse play calling system, and also a bevy of talent at the skill positions including a hell of a freshman running back. Anyways, I'm glad it got turned around, and us, the fan base was proven wrong.
-
Since we'll most likely be that 3 seed... I would gladly accept a Richlands/Ridgeview matchup on the Ridge. :) I think I'd rather play Richlands than play Lee again at this point. Without that 23 points (more or less) from our defense that game, we probably don't beat Lee.

Pulling for my good buddy and high school classmate Todd Tiller in this one, but it will not come to pass I'm afraid.
Graham 38, Fort Chiswell 14

So, with all this, it probably comes down to (g) and Richlands would get it based on their opponents having a bigger average I would guess.
-
You are the man Union_Fan. Fantastic job. Thanks for this.
-
Hit the nail on the head man. Thanks! :)
-
Haysi wasn't in the LPD... at least not in my lifetime. And I recall at least 3 times Haysi did in fact beat you on the field. GO BIG RED! I'm pretty sure if the roles were reversed would you NOT be pulling for us to lose so you could say you were district champs? I would be expecting you to. And be cool with it. Not such a whiner.
See! You get it. I can talk to you and not feel a backlash of hatred spewing back at me. I don't figure the points ahead, just at the moment, so... but it would be nice to say we were co-district champs as well. Although Abingdon could say that as well with two wins to finish out :D
-
Lol. Thanks for clearing that up buddy. I can't even see the conversation. It was shared to me by a buddy from Lee via screenshot. What's funny is he acknowledges in the first reply that as long as Union takes care of business then they'll be higher than Ridgeview in the end and then the second reply is all mad because they're not higher in the points NOW than Ridgeview.
